- three social events on one weekend and i'm looking forward to all of them! (Doctor Who with Charlotte and Shari on Friday evening, cake with Meike on Saturday, Annika in Bonn on Sunday)
- wild pink sweets from Katjes
- Vladi calling me and then actually visiting me the next day after not seeing each other for ages. We got ice-cream and talked and it was like no time had passed at all!
- a big plate of steaming pasta when really hungry
- a cat walking along the top of a roof, a golden retriever in a bike trailer, a fluffy German shepherd puppy
- eating fruit salad with Nevi and Likit & booping their noses ♥
- Blackwell's bookshop in Oxford, where they literally had all the books on my list and many more
- grilled portobello mushroom & halloumi brioche bun
- drinking my very first half pint of amber-coloured 'Doom Bar', Cormoran Strike's favourite ale in the Robert Galbraith crime novels!
- pub-made gravy (with pie, peas and mashed potato)
- the beautifully green Welsh countryside (reading Naomi Novik's 'Uprooted' i felt like entering a magical kingdom the whole time & also thought a lot about Glendower from Maggie Stiefvater's Raven Cycle)
