  • Getting a "Create your own kitty" book with rub-on stickers from Doris. She knows me so well.
  • "Dein Schweinkram ist der beste Schweinkram!" (Yanic while playing CAH)
  • Me and my friends are planning on renting the same house in Ste Maxime as 2011! My summer holiday is going to be awesome! I can't wait!
  • Doris. I decided to invite her to the Christmas market on the sixth of December and we had a blast. I feel all giddy around her. The next day we played table tennis during our break, started decorating our desk Christmas tree with tiny love notes and I laughed so hard at her destroying the Christmas ornament after I asked "was that you?" (when all I wanted to know was whether she put up the decorations). I'm a little bit in love. Too bad she's got a girlfriend, eh? Nah, but to be real, she's got potential for becoming a good friend for me. It's so rare to meet people you instantly click with.
  • The baked apple dessert I ate at Goldmarie with Alexandra and Lena.
  • The Sword in the Stone is over 50 years old but it is such a charming movie. I love the drawings.
  • Speaking of drawing... getting magic markers, drawing and writing into my sketchbook (preferably white on black).
  • Illustrations by Júlia Sàrda and Diana Naneva.
  • Coming up with the term "brookies" for weird baked good that are half brownie (bottom), half cookie (top) [Aldi Süd, winter 2016].
  • Reading more Benedict Wells books! Listening to Stephen Fry reading the Harry Potter books to me!
  • Knitting (this season: ginormous felt shoes).
  • A weird dream about sharing a bed with a white cat, a black cat and Doris (first gay sex dream, wow), Sabine building the basement of her house with straw, a walk through a mountain village and a very late school trip to the zoo.
  • The term "Old Church Slavonic". I can't stop repeating the words in my head.
  • The mountains. In the back mirror at the highway, but even better: being surrounded by snow-covered mountain tops in a full moon night, cold white fog in the valley, blinking stars. It's crazy how close we actually are to the Alps, they're merely a short drive away.
  • Spending time with Franzi and Johannes (Thomas Müller's doppelgänger) at Achatswies. Backrubs, fist-bumps, good brainstorming, some wine, a lot of laughing. Staying overnight with colleagues always feels like a school trip!
  • An Irish priest singing at a wedding. Lame, you say? Tears, I say.
  • VorOrt Christmas bread with figs, nuts and apricots. Mmmh.
  • For the first time, I'm actually drinking my advent calendar tea pretty much every day. In the previous years, I hardly ever drank it and the tea bags collected dust in my cupboard...
  • Watching Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at the cinema, Doris and Jonathan next to me. Having dinner at Ecki's, playing with her cat. I'm licking my battle wounds now so Doris got me some band-aids. I also lay on the sofa and rested my head on her leg so I got the kitty treatment. And some homemade cookies from Ecki. Win!
  • Reading our Christmas tree messages with Doris. I laughed HARD, let me tell you.
  • Anna braiding my hair into boxer braids again.
  • The fact that my team always wins at Activity.
  • Matching my lipstick with my huge glass of red wine on Christmas Eve.
  • A nice Christmas with really good presents. Can't complain at all! I got the Slate graphic tablet for myself and earrings / a beautiful blue suede pouch from my Etsy wishlist from my mum, my brother and Martin. A large singing bowl, Aesop parsley seed serum, a self-crocheted headband from Annika, some more beauty products, gin, socks, and a lot of small goodies from my pupils.
  • I'm very thankful for nasal spray this month.
  • I short trip to Kochelsee on my own, even though I was still sick as fuck and nobody wanted to come with me. Also, I actually wanted to go to Walchensee but didn't drive far enough. Still, it's good to get out sometimes.
  • Watching the first season of Fleabag. It's kinda like a dark version of Miranda. Oh, and Adult Wednesday Addams is brilliant, too.
  • Sonnentor Lass die Sonne rein, a blend of herbal and fruit tea.
  • Patches of Light - Helsinki in December by Lena Reinhard.
  • Being able to taste again after that horrendous second December cold (even though that also meant I had to realise how disgusting the cough syrup was I needed to take all the time).
  • A few weeks ago, I heard a great song at Visions party but never found out its name. Then I heard it again in a Scrotal Recall episode!! Finally!!
  • Westworld is actually as good as everyone says! Whee, I've already been waiting for a new show that's able to fascinate me and whoa did they succeed. Oh and I love how they sneak modern rock songs onto that bar piano. Bonus points for snuggles on the sofa while sounding like sick old grandparents with all our coughing (we even tried advocaat and nearly puked).
  • I don't wanna jinx it but apparently I'm due for a huge tax return! IMMA GONNA BOOK ALL DA FLIGHTS!
  • My mum invented the word "grooky" in an e-mail! I guess she meant groggy? (Or spooky? Ha ha.)
  • The movie Blue Jay, because I love the Duplass brothers.
