- New Year's Eve was pretty good with amazing tapas that A. and I (mostly A.!) made. And lots of drink and Kpop! And lots of Sharick!
- I posted my yearly wrap-up on my blog and it really sunk in how many mazing things I've done this year and how much I've changed.
- I re-potted a lot of plants, and now I have an even more ridiculous number of plants in my lounge!
- Had another good talk with Deb while we were at the shop. When Woody came it he was so excited to see his Mummy, it made me so happy and I laughed.
- Went Pokemon-hunting with S and B. It was incredibly hot and humid and disgusting, but there was a nice breeze by the beach. I caught over 50 Pokemon! -- including several new ones: Diglett and about 8 Jynxes. We went to another location to try and get a Snorlax for S, but it disappeared by the time we got there; also it was so hot we could barely walk. Then we went to Brimbank park: at first I wasn't very impressed, but further in it was pretty good. That was where we caught the Jynxes. It was still very hot but we heard thunder, and it started to rain! It was so lovely we just stood out in the rain and let ourselves get wet. I stretched my arms up and just let myself feel. Then it started raining harder and harder until it was pounding on us and my eyes filled up with water! We ran for the car but it wouldn't unlock at first -- we were all squealing and trying to pull open the doors! Finally we all managed to get in and were laughing and laughing as the rain battered down on the roof. It was such a good day.

- Got, not as many presents as past years, but I really like them all.
- Christmas was lovely and not angsty at all (drawing DAEG was a good reminder that a lot of it is down to my attitude). I even visited Oma at her new place and apparently made her year.
- Had a really nice House Dinner with lots of amazing food and good company. Planned a Pokemon outing for next week.
- Drunk Eat Your Sushi: "Seizure Sushi!"
- Also, Martina wearing the Fat Fat Taco Head, and an upside down moustache on her eyebrows.
- I coloured a monster!
- Sharick is so cute when he's all sooky.
- A. described the present for the both of us as the present from the tree. I really like that! I want to do it every year!
- Ben and I had a funny chat at work talking about Star Wars and midicloriens and what if you could power yourself up with them before a fight, if you could get midiclorien bars or a shake.
- Russell Howard: teaching his little nephew to say in response to anyone telling him to do something: "you'd like that, wouldn't you?" Creepy and hilarious.
- Russell Howard is actually really funny. He does the kind of comedy that appeals to me, with funny accents and facial expressions.
- Still craving more Curly Spuds!
- Managed to depict the Gut Pixie in paint (mostly) and more pleased with the result than I thought I'd be.
- We went late night shopping at K-Mart and got some gifts and also the Harry Potter boxed set for ourselves for Christmas.
- I visited F and we had a lovely time talking and then went to the night market and had 3 courses from the food trucks, plus nutella ice cream for dessert!
- I had my first ever curly spud and I was so excited I ran back to where F was sitting to show her. hehe
- At the work Christmas lunch I had the pork belly and eggnog creme brulee and they were both amazing!! And I had a nice and comfortable time talking with my workmates.
- A made a blanket fort for Sharick and he slept underneath it most of the day and all that night. awwwwww
- My workmates and boss mentioned multiple times how valuable my work is, and we finished our project 4 days early.
- The tiny leaflet on the lemon tree has turned into a tiny branch.
- I worked on my zine and on some painting and it was great!
- I napped really really hard.
- I finally felt better enough to go for a walk before work. I saw a Christmas tree forest at the pier! They smelled so good.
- A made really amazing Grostl (fried potatoes).
- Had some really amazing cups of tea.
