Regent's Park on my first evening in London.

Shout out to the random British man who posed for a picture with my scavenger hunt group today as we wondered how in the hell we would be able to check "take a photo with a cyclist" off of our list.

My plan to don a cape and crown, slam the gates, flood the moat, and declare myself the ruler of Hampton Court did not go as well as I had hoped.

My view from atop the London Eye.

Evenings in the park are my new fave.

I found the little goslings again! And yes, it was an uneventful day.

It was gray and dreary in London today, so here is a selection from today's reading.

The Tower of London and the London Bridge in the same photograph. So English.

I dragged my heights-fearing ass onto this glass floor for an impressive two seconds.

The best picture I got at Canterbury Cathedral. The lighting was awful, and my phone's camera sucks.

I am so in love with medieval English churches. This one is at Stratford-upon-Avon.

St. Paul casting a lightning bolt.

London is turning me into an architecture nerd.

Emilia!

Jenna!

Matthew! This was a magical day.

I did not expect Westminster Abbey to be so spooky from the outside.

If I had a better camera, I would probably do an entire photo series on London's amazing old entryways. I am that fascinated.

My obsession with Gothic architecture continues.

Dirty baths in Bath.

The Gryffindor common room! Thus begins a selection of photos taken during my religious experience in the Harry Potter studios today.

Three of my favorite HP characters. All dead. Naturally.

Hagrid's hut!

Weasleys!

Breathe in. Breathe out.

Oh yeah.

I beat the birthday crowd by visiting Windsor Castle today.

The photograph I took in the Royal Apartments before a security guard tutted at me for taking photographs.

Literally why this stair choice, St. Paul's? (The experience itself was amazing though, omg.)

A personal favorite from the Victoria & Albert.

Richard Madden at the exact moment my friend accidentally whispered "I love you" as he signed her ticket.

Here we see both Alfie Allen and myself in the background of the same photograph.

I stood on the bridge at King's Cross Station and wondered exactly what rail the Hogwarts Express takes out of the station. Can it not be seen by my Muggle eyes? Was it right before me the entire time?

The actual location of Platform 9 3/4 is really quite boring.

Kit!

Finally got to see the red coats.

The white cliffs of Dover are amazing.

...and the castle was my favorite castle so far.

I tried to find a way in. No success.

Trafalgar Square felt very peaceful at sunset today.

Super happy about my Richard and Kit scribbles, not gonna lie.

York Minster!

The churchyard of Holy Trinity Church, Goodramgate, York. I found it so charming.

A view up the hill to Clifford's Tower.

On the city walls at York.

Another charming churchyard in York.

The British Museum. My mom and I geeked out over the ancient Egyptian things and bought too many postcards.

Dobby is a FREE ELF!

My mom and I are really cool.

My last glimpse of England before ascending into the clouds.

Back in the homeland. That's a wrap, folks.
