  • September 24th: Sitting in the back of the van with the family and the cousins after the Jason Mraz concert.
  • September 25th: Season 6 finale of Grey's Anatomy is crazzzyy!
  • September 26th: Keaton is a good tickler.
  • September 27th: Why yes, Stella and Mahalia did come to my yoga class today.
  • September 28th: Sunshiny naps.
  • September 29th: Laying on the White's couch with James while he teaches me all the capitals of the countries in South America.
  • September 30th: Griffin made me an awesome tin foil hat.
  • October 1st: Cold day, snuggling with Stella in her bed/ Dark and rainy nights in the neighborhood eating salmon, coming up with halloween costumes and Htoo Eh walking on our backs.
  • October 2nd: Seeing Ian at the street festival and having deep talks with him later, I feel really cool about how this friendship is growing.
  • October 3rd: Veronica trying to explain how she doesn't want to be alone and wishes her friends would let her drive them home.
  • October 4th: Perfect Tuesday:

  • October 16th: Teaching myself how to play Super Bass by Nicki Minaj on guitar.

  • October 18th: My yoga teacher was in such a good mood today, it was contagious.
  • October 19th: Reading Gone With The Wind in my bed all snuggly, late into the night.
  • October 20th: Singing in the car with mommy, yoga class with daddy.
  • October 21st: Dancing with Dana and Stella/Class with James/Watching Titanic with Amelia.
  • October 22nd: Ian actually wants to be friends with me.
  • October 23rd: 6 months haaay.
  • October 24th: Hearing my dad singing in the shower.
  • October 25th: Falling asleep while Uncle Tom plays guitar/Really great talk with Isis after class.
  • October 26th: Bad dancing to weird music with Veronica basically taking up my entire first floor.
  • October 27th: Embarrassing Stella and Mahalia at Value Village because I just really like to dance down the isles.
  • October 28th: Running around Walmart being weird with Stella, Alexis, Liza and Amelia.
  • October 29th: Sipping a hot Cup O' Noodles after a long day of outlet shopping with the girls/ Trick or treating on the boardwalk in the pouring rain, so cold, Stella <3
  • October 30th: Puppy Parade with Stella and James telling me he's gonna give me a day just for me.
  • October 31st:
    • Liza can't sing. Liza is so cute.
    • Ian meeting me half way, spraying me with silly string, giving me awesome hugs and actually talking to me.
    • James coming to find me just so I didn't have to walk home alone.

  • November 1st: Making curry with Mom and reading Winnie the Pooh.
  • November 2nd: Finding a long letter from Nicole in my math notes during class explaining to me why I shouldn't make my sister a sandwich.
  • November 3rd: Really productive day, long walks around Takoma with Ian, bringing him pumpkin bread, sitting on my kitchen floor listening to music and drinking tea and eating pumpkin bread and sorting buttons.

  • November 6'th: Spinning and dancing and bouncing around The Lucarelli's dark attic with Mahalia. Somehow the two of us moving together always makes me so happy.
  • November 7'th: Stopping infront of Ben Miller's house with Ian, playing with his car and listening to him play weird music.
  • November 8'th: Playing MW3 with James and having arguments about my sweater.
  • November 9th: Laughing hysterically at pictures that my sister and I drew when we were little with my family.
  • November 10th: Stella's face when I mention puppies.
  • November 11th: Seeing Eli do an amazing job in Lost in Yonkers/Watching Jamie and Leslie laugh and giggle like teenaged girls on the way home/Standing in my kitchen at 11:11 11/11/11.
  • November 12th: Such a long day being a teenager:
    • Playing Pooh sticks with Ian in Sligo Creek.
    • Being annoying in Subway with Ashe, Zoey, Erin and Ian.
    • Dinner at Mark's with Michael, Zoey and Ian.
    • Watching the Incredibles and quoting everything.
    • Michael's house is sooooo nice!
    • Watching the boys throw things at each other.
  • November 13th: Sitting on Mahalia's bed painting our nails, eating chocolate, talking about boys and making a card for Stella.
  • November 14th: The whole class randomly breaking out in applause for me because I cleaned up all the notebooks.
  • November 15th: Wrestling with Stella and reminiscing about the spring.
  • November 16th: The most beautiful hug.
  • November 17th: Random hug from a guy named Saqi.
  • November 18th: Lying in James's bed while he plays with my feet and Ashe writes cuss words on his pants with tape.
  • November 19th: Saw a huge shooting star that split into two pieces while I was in the middle of Old Town!
  • November 20th: Breakfast with the family at Mark's that some how turns into breakfast with Zeke, Ben, Ian, Ashe and Conor at Mark's.
  • November 21st: Such a cozy day at home packing, cookies and tea, and then ending the day right with Ian coming over. My life is so good.
  • November 22nd: First night on Chincoteague Island is absolutely beautiful. Colman pushing me around in a shopping cart in the Food Lion parking lot, Stella running into a wall, knitting and I"m just so excited to be here.
  • November 23rd: Beach football, bike riding, knitting.
  • November 24th: THANKSGIVING:
    • Watching the Beman sister's fight for a football
    • Nice talks on the beach with Aunt Jen
    • Yoga on the deck during sunset
    • Crazy Thanksgiving dinner
    • Cuddle piles underneath the stars
    • "Things you can find on a highway that start with B?" "Bitches."
    • Running through the streets holding John's hand
  • November 25th: Great game of football, beautiful sunset whilst riding home, Alexis talking in an Asian accent, "I think you need some alone time...with me."
  • November 26th: The happiest night I've had in months, the back deck of the rental house aglow with disco balls and christmas lights reflecting onto the water. Everyone on the trip dancing, from all ages, 10 to 50+. I slow danced with all my best friends, swing danced with adults, watched my favorite people dance together, laughed and shook, I forgot how to stand still. I love the Sherman Avenue neighborhood, and I'm so lucky to be a part of it.
  • November 27th: When I saw a giant unicorn and it farted but it smelled wonderful. Then I rode it to Ian's house where we snuggled and listened to bad 80's music and watched cute movies, but actually just nuzzled each other with a movie played in the background.
  • November 28th: Saw Mahalia and Ian today, I missed both of them so much!!!
  • November 29th: Step 1, Get to yoga class early. Step 2, run around the studio causing shenanigans with Stella and Mahalia. GOOD TIMES IN THE YOGA ROOM.
  • November 30th: I'm starting to get excited for Christmas.
  • December 1st: Driving home from Rockville while Stella and Mahalia scream Christmas songs in the back seat and Jamie and I laugh hysterically and choke on our chicken quesadillas.
  • December 2nd: Hanging out at Ian's house, meeting his family and chilling with the band. I feel happy about this.
  • December 3rd: I like that Aunt Jen can call my cell phone and just talk to me whenever she feels like it. She is like a second mother to me.
  • December 4th: Random outburst of giggles and smiles all day as I remember things that happened last night.
  • December 5th: Kitty fell asleep on my math homework. So cute.
  • December 6th: Adventures in the kitchen with Stella, discovering how much Hot Pocket's suck.
  • December 7th: Watching Ian make dinner and dance around his kitchen whilst drinking tea. Actually just so lovely.
  • December 8th: "This is fruit flavored? What fruit? I taste no fruit. Is this fruit supposed to come from some smooglyboogly martian planet?!"--Uncle Tom disgusted by the taste of his gum.
  • December 9th: Veronica inspires me, Ian makes me laugh, my sister is beautiful. I have such amazing people in my life.
  • December 10th: I love watching Mr. Mitchell play guitar. He's such a cool person to have as a neighbor and I'm glad he is mine.
  • December 11th: Pancakes with Ian at Mark's Kitchen. It's December and it's not even that cold, I like it.
  • December 12th: Snuggling, dinner and Christmas shopping with Stella. So glad to have her back after that long 3 day break.
  • December 13th: Decorating Christmas CD's with The Whites. Officially feels like Christmas.
  • December 14th: Standing in the kitchen with my mom and we suddenly both break out into yoga poses. Mother daughter similarities.
  • December 15th: Those lips.
  • December 16th: Such a great night in the neighborhood; wrestling, back massages, truth or dare and dancing.

  • December 25th: Christmas! Such a happy day, I love my family so much.
  • December 26th: Post Christmas coziness at home with the parents, can't stop using the Listography book Veronica gave me.
  • December 27th: Spent about 15 minutes discussing Super Smash Bros. with Ian.
  • December 28th: Panic attack, loud music, dancing, shaved legs, grapefruit.
  • December 29th: Lots of laughs doing Spanish with Stella and Mooohaylia. "Yo tiene flores rojas"
  • December 30th: Playing Just Dance with Alexis and Dana and Stella and Amelia.
  • December 31st: Calling people to wish them Happy New Year's!
  • January 1st: Eating a wonderful dinner with 15 other people while the snow falls outside.
  • January 2nd: Taking a walk around the lake in a winter harmony. Snowball fights, family vs. family, sky lanterns and bon fires and hot tubs in the snow.
  • January 3rd: Julianna having difficulties drilling holes into a rock.
  • January 4th: Took a class with Naomi today! I haven't sweated that much in a yoga class since, well, the last time I took a class with Naomi.
  • January 5th: Finished watching School of Rock with Ian.
  • January 6th: Cuddle puddle in Dana's bed, such a nice day.
  • January 7th: Got to spend the day in the White's attic, sneak attacks.
  • January 8th: Me-"I have cramps." Cameron-"Do you want chocolate?"
  • January 9th: Watched the first episode of Lost. Forgot what a good show it is.
  • January 10th: Looking at old baby pictures with Julianna and Kit.
  • January 11th: Couldn't stop talking, as always, in the car on the way to math. I crack myself up sometimes.
  • January 12th: I missed Ian. Went to the creek on a beautiful day with him, and made a fort.
  • January 13th: Night in the neighborhood,
    • Dancing in the street with Dana.
    • Dinner with my 9 favorite people.
    • Dana and Colman are so cute.
    • John flipping out over Colman knocking over the lamp.

  • January 14th: We brushed our teeth together.
  • January 15th: Hung out in the band room with Ian, danced around, the sun felt extra sunny today.
  • January 16th: Comforter, nutella hot chocolate, snuggling and Harry Potter.
  • January 17th: Test running the game Stella and I made for Art History class with mommy and Aunt Jen, who are both slightly intoxicated. So, so, so, so funny!
  • January 18th: Applying lotion and dancing around my room in the sunlight, no clothes make me happy.
  • January 19th: Playing "Guess the Beatle Song" With Allison and Stella before class.
  • January 20th: Dance party in The White's attic.
  • January 21st: Hot tubbing and showers with Amelia, Dana and Stella.
  • January 22nd: Continuing my tradition of watching NFC championships with Miles//Dana and The White's over for football and Chinese food. It's all my favorite people in one house!
  • January 23rd: Made a nest in the attic. So romantic.
  • January 24th: "There was no heave, the rate is regular...That's almost poetry."--Uncle Tom while reading Miles's medical report.
  • January 25th: Lunch with Uncle Tome and Stella and Miles "You tryin' to kill somebody?" "Stella is experiencing the feeling of getting pwned" and Miles having trouble talking and eating at the same time//Driving down back roads while listening to the Miami Dolphin's fight song//Nap with Stella.
  • January 26th: Let my mom trim my bangs. Did not turn out too badly.
  • January 27th: Chasing Fritz around the neighborhood trying to get her to come home. Fun adventures with Stella.
  • January 28th: Train to New York, WTC memorial, Brooklybridge at sunset, the Met.
  • January 29th: Walk across the New York high line with mommy--so cool! My new favorite place. Wicked.
  • January 30th: In the back seat of the Iwugo's new car driving home from Annapolis, dancing to the playlist that Stella and Mahalia made.
  • January 31st: Workin' on playing Blackbird. Not too shabby.
  • February 1st: Stayed out in the hammock until dark with Ian. Such a warm evening, having such nice talks. And he sang to me.
  • February 2nd: Was really stressed, but it turned out to be easy.
  • February 3rd: Susan: "Stop talking!" Cameron: *Singing* "You just invite them, on a cruise ship, then you push them off the edge."
  • February 4th: Tampons are actually just the greatest thing.
  • February 5th: Eating sweet potato fries with Alexis and Stella, "Erin told me that--" "SHE WAS LYING."
  • February 6th: Laughed for a good 3 minutes at the ugly picture I took of myself.
  • February 7th: The yoga room is so sunny. Stella and Mahalia are so happy.
  • February 8th: I remembered to say goodbye to Jessica today.
  • February 9th: A puppy bit my face.
  • February 10th: They can annoy the shit out of me, but I love those Annapolis boys. They're hilarious and will always have a special place in my heart.
  • February 11th: I like that I feel comfortable enough at the The White's to go downstairs and clean the kitchen when all the kids are watching a movie and all the parents are out.
  • February 12th: Dancing down the aisles of Trader Joe's while Ian looks at me like I'm the most adorable thing he's ever seen.
  • February 13th: Playing The Newly Wed game at Good Things. Cameron is a terrible husband.
  • February 14th: Regina subbed, I forgot how free and simple her classes are, with her funky music playing. I liked it. Also, got a few new dresses at Val Vil.

  • February 19th: Amelia taught me how to spin on ice skates/Plotting how to react when One Direction shows up on their hike while we're in the hot tub.
  • February 20th: My mom's playlist as the soundtrack to the scene where we make dinner and dessert in my kitchen, in the Jeneva and Ian romantic comedy.
  • February 21st: "I hate you" wrestling battles and dance off's with Stella.
  • February 22nd: Gorgeous springish evening, was really nice to have Moses back. He called me outstanding and a sweetheart and pinched my cheeks. Then delicous birthday dinner with the Whites and Grammie.
  • February 23rd: Windows down, speakers on, math homework with the girls. These warm spring nights are bringing back memories.
  • February 24th: Susan giving life advice to her dog.
  • February 25th: I finally saw James, and he actually talked to me. And had all the boys perform a rap for me.
  • February 26th: Running around Takoma Park, trying to complete the scavenger hunt that Aunt Jen made. It was a really nice day and it reminded me how much I love Takoma Park, I talked to a lot of strangers who were all really friendly and helpful.
  • February 27th: Instead of working, I had a wrestling match over a tennis ball with my teacher and Cameron.
  • February 28th: It was so nice seeing Isis after such a terrible day. Yoga made me feel better, I think I'm finally finding my abs in plank and I actually kinda enjoyed bow pose today.
  • February 29th: First time I ever had a conversation with the woman who I've been sitting next to in class for the entire session.

  • March 16th: Grandparents are home!! Missed my grandparents so much! My god they're cute.

  • March 20th: Today I was a hot mess of sweaty hair while dancing and yoga-ing. Summer on the first day of spring?
  • March 21st: "I want ice cream, ice creeeeaammm, creeeeeeeeam, ice creaaammmm." My parents think I"m annoying in movie theaters.
  • March 22nd: The Hunger Games!
  • March 23rd: Driving back from the grandparents with the parents and cheering "We, want crackers! We, we, want crackers!"
  • March 24th: Ian and Dana are so cute. When I'm with them I'm like a third wheel.
  • March 25th: Draw Something and Hunger Games with James. Things are getting better.
  • March 26th: Birthday! Special donut from Keaton, nice day at Good Things, texting with Moohaylia, lunch at Mark's and tent time with Ian, dinner with The Whites.
  • March 27th: Mooohaylia home from India!!! Hearing about all her Indian adventures and sweeeet pants.
  • March 28th: Getting help packing from Ian. AKA hanging out in the back yard in a half constructed tent. I forgot how nice a good ol' make out session can be.

  • April 13th: Birthday shoes and birthday song from Alexis and Liza. 3 weeks late, whatevs.
  • April 14th: Long day at Alexis's. I like Naomi and Elia, choreographed dance with Dana and Stella and Mooohaylia.
  • April 15th: Talking about next school year with Julianna and Mom.
  • April 16th: Walk and chalk and Mark's. It is so warm.
  • April 17th: Tuesdays are the best because I get to hang out with Mark and Isis and I love Mark and Isis.

  • April 19th: I have the sweeeetest zoo in Zoo Tycoon.

  • April 26th: Racing Ian home from Mark's Kitchen. Running through Takoma Park at 9 PM in my dress and barefoot.
  • April 27th: Hanging out in the kitchen with Mooohaylia (Aka raiding the Hunter's fridge)/Dancing and snacking (Aka flailing our limbs around with hot dogs in our hands).
  • April 28th: One Direction blogs and little kids and spin art.
  • April 29th: Takoma day with the family. The Bistro, Ace Hardware, cute wedding, ice cream and drums.
  • April 30th: Went to Moses's class with Ian. Yay for couples! And saw Jamie :)
  • May 1st: Carrie subbed for Isis. Kinda weird having her as a teacher at first but her class was soooo fun and it just made me love her even more.
  • May 2nd: It's so satisfying being the youngest one in the room and also being one of the only ones who can get into handstand. Susie's classes are fun.
  • May 3rd: Adventurous Takoma day: Hunting for toe rings, following Stella home with Mooohaylia, made a new Asian friend, playing in the Willow St. office buildings with Ian.
  • May 4th: Such a fucking amazing show! fun. does it right.
  • May 5th: Value Village trip with Veronica and Ian//Sushi and game night! I love SAC.
  • May 6th: Searching for Miles's "stolen" hockey goals with the boys, "Who tryna Reap?"
  • May 7th: SAC dinner Dana birthday The Voice Liam is dead. I didn't use periods because I felt like the sentence would be better that way.
  • May 8th: Grocery shopping with Uncle Tom and Stella.
  • May 9th: Driving home with Jamie.
  • May 10th: First day flying! I think I found my new thing.

  • May 25th: I love the Iwugo's and going downtown with them was the best thing ever. Running through a group of boys high-fiving them all and having a competition about who could get the most with Miles.
  • May 26th: Annual pool party with cousins/Girlsss nnighhtttt! Talking about our imaginary ex-boyfriends and day dreaming and just kinda boys in general.
  • May 27th: Sitting on the porch singing and beading with the girls when a random guy walks by and shouts "Someone is flat!"
  • May 28th: Annual adults vs. kids dodgeball game in the park is maybe the highlight of my year.
  • May 29th: First time this year having dinner at the pool :)

  • June 15th: Mom and I love Mandy, and my grandma is the greatest cook.

  • June 28th: Amelia is the cutest thing, I"m glad she's home from Europe and I"m glad that our party made her cry.
  • June 29th: The guy at the pool who wanted our pizza, the guy at CVS who wanted our cupcakes, and the people in the parking lot who thought we were lesbians.

  • July 2nd: Stella and Amelia scrapin' in the movie theater over who Snow White is better with. The Huntsman, or William?

  • July 4th: Would talk about how great the 4th was, but the highlight of my day is definitely realizing how close Amelia and I actually are. She's a really good friend.

  • August 6th: James's puppy dog face is too much for me to handle. Hanging out with him and the girls in Dana's room.
  • August 7th: Thank the lord Mark taught me why capo's exist. I literally love capo's more than anything else.
  • August 8th: Playing volley ball with 7 of the greatest people in the middle of a cow pasture, playing guitar with Stella and Uncle Tom under the stars.
  • August 9th: Picture this, James floating in the swimming hole while commanding Stella and I to collect rocks for him, John and Jamie paddle their boat around and miles sunbathes on a rock.
  • August 10th: I like that The Beatles are making a comeback in SAC. Sitting in the backseat, driving through the mountains with 8 Days A Week blaring through the speakers, James and Stella sit in front of me singing along and Uncle Tom using his steering wheel as a drum.
  • August 11th: Going around the room saying who we're intimidated by.
  • August 12th: Summer SAC day
    • Walk in Sligo Creek with the girls.
    • Turns out Javi is hot.
    • Got on the wrong bus.
    • Closing ceremonies, freaking out when One Direction came on and James instagramming it.
    • Colman is home! Snuggled with him.
  • August 13th: The highlight of my day was when Amelia started crying because she loves my mom.
  • August 14th: OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. Lifeguard played volley ball with me. I have the biggest crush, I can't.
  • August 15th: Having dinner with Stella, Veronica and Grammie and Grammie making friends with our waiter.
  • August 16th: MoCo fair with Mooohaylia and hanging out at the pool with her and Stella, a nice reunion for us. Btw, Lifeguard totally stares at us.
  • August 17th: It just so happens that there were about a dozen attractive men at Mark's Kitchen today.
  • August 18th: So basically, hanging out in the woods at 2 in the morning with James, Dana, Colman, Amelia and Stella is the most entertaining thing you can do.
  • August 19th: Ditched the tubing idea so that I could crawl into a warm tent and snuggle with Dana and Stella while it rains.
  • August 20th: Sitting in my new room writing while Stella decorates my wall and Mahalia plays guitar. Got caught in the rain with all the girls and James.
  • August 21st: Downtown DC with Uncle Tom and the cousins. The capitol is so cool!

  • August 27th: Had a nice talk with Ian and had dinner at the Bistro.
  • August 28th: Spinning around in the pool with Stella while she cries over One Direction and we realize that Liam Hemsworth Lifeguard and Hot Lifeguard are the same person.
  • August 29th: I love that Stella and I are friends again. Today while I packed she lay in my bed and made me laugh. Then I made her lunch.
  • August 30th: Watching my parents luagh and sing along to my reggae version of Country Roads.//Ocracoke is adorable. Julianna and I met some guys at the pool and bet them 20 dollars that we could beat them at pool.
  • August 31th: Amazing breakfast at The Flying Melon, bike riding around Ocracoke during sunset.
  • September 1st: Fun times on the ferry.
  • September 2nd: Took an evening run on the beach with Stella and Mahalia just in time for a cooling off sunset swim.
  • September 3rd: Playing Give Me Love on guitar with Mooohaylia (We sound awesome).
  • September 4th: Made up a song called hurricane Leslie with Mooohaylia. And played songs for people in the elevator. Pranked the boys.
  • September 5th: The best time to be on the beach is in the evening because everything is pink and blue and we play volleyball.
  • September 6th: Running around in a giant storm on the beach with my cousins.
  • September 7th: Sitting in the stream that formed on the beach while Stella, Mahalia, Miles an Julianna cover me in foam.//Chanting "Matt says Jump we say How High?" at 2AM.
  • September 8th: Guitar on the beach for hours with Mooohaylia.// Watching all the dad's be sassy.
  • September 9th: Duck donuts, quick drive home, Folk Fest, Dana and Amelia, cool braid--THANKS ZOEY!
  • September 10th: Nothing day. AKA fan ficion, editing, guitar and cooking.
  • September 11th: Stella and I had the greatest class with Mark. We couldn't stop laughing! After, we went to the co-op an d bought bagels and then listened to music and did homework.
  • September 12th: The excitement of math car pool and yoga class can only mean one thing: Wednesdays are back.
  • September 13th: Having a ridiculously hard time putting my new bed together with Stella and Mahalia. Half laughing and half crying.
  • September 14th: Morning run, vocab, fist class with Leslie, walk home, cupcakes, grandparents.

  • September 20th: Going crazy (crazy, crazy) with Stella when Live While We're young came out. Walking around Takoma with corn dogs in our hands while we sing the new single.
  • September 21st: I love the fact that James spends his Friday nights in dark attics, dancing with 6 half naked girls. And he doesn't even care.
  • September 22nd: The fish party was better than expected. But the best part was watching James sing along to all 74 of his favorite songs at 2AM while Colman makes me eggs.
  • September 23rd: Family dinner at Asian Bistro! We're really good eaters.
  • September 24th: Making cookies with Stella and worrying about making things perfect.
