life (things i know are true)

that the crisp and clean and pure and simple are just as beautiful as the messy and dirty and complicated and unknown.
that the truth is cruel and often unnecessary
that a digital camera does not produce real photos
that music tells us what we may not have earlier known about ourselves and life
that to lie in bed on a sunday with the new yorker and a cup of hot tea is better than almost anything else
that i am always uncertain and find it impossible to put faith in things
that a good movie is easy to identify with but that my life will never be as interesting or fulfilling as the lives that characters lead.
that i will always want to be someone else and aspire to be like them
