New Features & Book Update
Book News: Listography, The Book, has sold out of its second printing. Chronicle is reprinting round 3 and they should soon be back in small spaces and big spaces (Chronicle Books, Amazon, Fred Flare, Barnes & Noble, Urban Outfitters) in JUNE! The Kid's Listography and Love Listography are complete and will arrive in the Fall of 2008. Thank you for sharing the book with family and friends, and for your emails and support of the book!

Newness:
1. New formatting features (see guide for help): bold, italic, checkmarks, link single words or whole lines, urls now linked automatically, create sublists, create paragraphs within lists
(Note: There is one bug we are working out with single word linking. If you link a word at the end of a line, it links the whole line. We hope to resolve this soon.)
2. Both the list creation date and the updated date are viewable on your lists now
3. Streamlined "tools" menu and "show links" tool
4. Google maps and Flickr added to the link generator
5. Keep yourself logged-in by clicking the box on the home page
Coming Soon: We're working on customization options, list feeds so you can follow list updates easily, and more list tools.

and how bout makin the lists so that you can scroll through them esaily without having to go back to the main page every time to look at another list?!!!!! kind of like a "previous" and "next" link on the bottom when you are viewing a list.

Is it possible to choose how long the preview of each list is (as it appears on the user's main page)? I noticed that instead of cutting off the preview of each list to just 10 items more items are now shown on the main page. I think it causes some pages to look a bit cluttered, having a lot of different sized boxes. Is it possible for the user to have an option of until how many items the preview list shows in his or her homepage before having to click "read more" to see the others? Sorry, I hope that was understandable.
Is it also possible for the user to have an option for the blurb or intro text to go back the way it was before (italicized and small) instead of the default size it is now? Like can the user choose how to format this?
Anyway, I really appreciate all the time & effort you guys have been giving to listography. I love listography! More power to you guys! :)

hi anne, thanks for the comments. really helpful. we hope to add more user personal formatting over time. right now you can italicize your list blurb but we had to change the font size for other things to work. i hear you on the list sizing. we'll try to work that out soon, at least as close as we can get it until we've got more personalization features. thank you again for writing with feedback!
