• OH. sucks. only thing positive was eating at our favorite chain restaurants, max & ermas. burger!
• erie, PA. the hampton's beds are heavenly. we missed out on the pool hours. sleeping and bathing only.
• niagra falls, NY. impossible for us to believe what the native americans were thinking when they rolled up. both of us having to pee, possibly the worst i've ever had to while walking over intense flowing water. not funny! being the only one in a bathroom to wash my hands??! those gross mandatory navy and lime green velcro sandals everyone was wearing. cute couple trading cameras with us to get a picture.
• albany, NY. creepy hotel, funny bar, food network on the television, score! the price chopper is a sketchy grocery store. lauren regretting that cheeseburger. noming a mango on the tv tray late at night.
• leroy, NY. the jello museum closed early. ate food at this small restaurant. annoying women in large gaggle. insane doll sandbox hanging upside down from the ceiling for what appeared like no reason at all. nomed bread basket by lauren. good smelling violet and lavender lotion in the bathroom.
• troy, NY, looks like sesame street.
• portland, ME. pleasant to walk and walk and walk in. didn't learn the roads all that well, but lauren did. nice shops where i bought finger puppets, jeans, incense, fancy wine opener, the perfect navy skirt. going to the ocean and climbing rocks. paths and benches. sunset boat tour to all surrounding islands. losing my card in an atm. allison being caring, thoughtful, and hospital host. being filmed in the middle of a high school video class production including swords, police hats, and someone getting pushed of the pier 10 feet into cold water. walking drunk one night. no one goes out on mondays apparently. lighthouses everywhere. liking island life. listening to records in the morning. listening to saturday night fever the last night together, making a fruit plate, dancing disco for allison and ravinder.
• bar harbor, ME. fancy dinner. the cadillac inn and the goddess and the italian guys hanging around drinking and wearing towels all afternoon. finding salt water taffy. going out for an adventure after dinner, haha. sundog and the butterfly or whatever that song was. getting sucked into the suitcase, moving the lawn on my finger tips and hearing children playing. dancing to the rolling stones on the bed in our bikinis. going on top of the beautiful cadillac mountain the first night after our wine tasting. going back to the park the next morning to eat breakfast and climb rocks. that man teleporting from cliff to cliff.
• NH. big beautiful mountains but scary people. dim walmarts filled with people who all look the same. mountain people. winding roads.
• bennington, VT. easy to drive through once out of the northern parts. cute. unplanned chinese buffet for dinner. the hampton being bastards. swimming pool felt great. funny man upside down in the work out room. painted moose statues everywhere.
