• "OKAY. I made mine already because I was le bored. Also, I'm sure you have some of these Down South, but I didn't know which ones for the most part, so just go with it."

THINGS JIM HAS ACTUALLY SEEN

  • Short Films
    • Neighbours
    • David (cheesy as hell)
    • The Hockey Sweater (Super-Canadian. We put a quote from this on our money.)
      • Greenie: "The Hockey Sweater was a book first. Which I have."
      • Jim: "I know. I've read that book many times, both in English and in French. Which I didn't realize for several pages and then I was like 'AHH IT'S THAT DAMN BOOK ABOUT JERSEYS'"
    • Heritage Minutes (at the very least watch this one; it is the biggest Canadian in-joke of all time)
    • Hinterland Who's Who (about animals; the theme tune is another little in-joke with some Canadians)
  • Movies
    • Rise and Fall of the Great Lakes (hilarious educational film)
    • The Final Sacrifice (best viewed as a Mystery Science Theatre 3000 episode, found here)
    • City on Fire (also an MST3K episode; inexplicably stars actual famous people)
    • Strange Brew (Super-Canadian)
    • The Trotsky (Rather amusing comedy about a kid who thinks he's Leon Trotsky reincarnated)
    • Bon Cop, Bad Cop (Bilingual cops: THEY FIGHT CRIME -AND GET HIGH-)
    • Fido (Zombies for pets)
    • Gunless (A western about Canada and its lack of guns. Also stars Paul Gross, who seems to have a contract requiring him to be in everything)
  • TV Shows
    • Are You Afraid of the Dark? (Really low-budget kid's horror show)
    • Clone High (which you totally have in the States but it's good so I'm including it)
    • Doctor Who (it totally counts okay)
    • Durham County (which I'm only including because it's about my hometown area)
    • Electric Circus (I'm not sure if it's on any more but it was just people dancing to terrible music)
    • Hilarious House of Frightenstein (which is just campy and terrible)
    • Little Mosque on the Prairie (Exactly what it sounds like)
    • Littlest Hobo (Dog wanders Canada helping people, catchy theme song)
    • Mr. Dressup (Best kid's show ever)
    • Red Green Show (Stereotypical and terrible; weird obsession with duct tape)
    • Rick Mercer Report (our version of the Daily Show)
    • This Hour Has 22 Minutes (another comedy news show)
    • Rocket Robin Hood (Poorly-animated sixties cartoon about Robin Hood IN SPACE. We also did sixties Spider-Man, just saying)
    • Super Dave Osbourne (World's worst stuntman. I have fond childhood memories of this)
    • Trailer Park Boys (I actually hate this show but it's fairly famous and some people say hilarious)

Things That Showed Up On Google and Had Hilarious Names, So He Can't Tell Me If They're Actually Good

  • Movies
    • Macbeth (1961) (with Sean Connery. I'm just assuming it's somewhat amusing.)
    • Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter (Reidsley says this one is good)
    • Men With Brooms (Curling movie; Paul Gross again)
    • Mambo Italiano (also a queer movie)
    • The Saddest Music in the World (apparently a comedy about the Great Depression?)
    • Cannibal Girls (Horror movie Spoof)
    • It's All Gone Pete Tong (apparently a comedy about going deaf?)
    • Graveyard Alive: A Zombie Nurse in Love (...exactly what it sounds like; B-movie)
    • Anything made by David Cronenberg is bound to be weird
  • TV Shows
    • Cross-Canada Barn Dance
    • Cucumber Club
    • Degrassi, the quintessential Canadian show
    • The Drunk and On Drugs Happy Fun Time Hour
    • Roly Poly Oly
