• 1 Jan 11: Sorority Row & Eden Lake--part on the Splatterday Saturday Movie marathon on Showtime
  • 2 Jan 11: Constantine (2005)--AMC just loves this movie, and for some reason I have to watch it every time it airs
  • 8 Jan 11: True Grit (1969)--boy, Kim Darby sure has been around a loooong time
  • 22 Jan 11: Clash of the Titans (2010)--I was pleasantly entertained...wish Bobo had a bigger cameo
  • 24 Jan 11: UP (2009)--Now you must wear the cone of shame
  • 12 Feb 11: Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010)--how do teenagers get to gamble in the Lotus Casino??
  • 14 Feb 11: 9 (2009): originally released 9/9/09, but not in my itty bitty town. So I had to wait for it on Netflix. I love the concept @ the end, that the world is what they will make it to be.
  • 3 Mar 11: The Quick and the Dead (1995)--on AMC, I like the cinematography in the film
  • 1 Apr 11: Seven Pounds (2008)--for such a funny guy, Will Smith seriously amazes me with his dramatic acting talents
  • 8 Apr 11: Hanna (2011)--really made me miss Germany. And Hanna was a believable B.A.B.
  • 15 Apr 11: Men Who Stare at Goats (2011)--not as funny as I expected it to be, dragged a bit. Glad I waited for Blu-ray
  • 25 Apr 11: She's Out of My League (2010)--pretty funny in some parts, a cute date movie
  • 29 Apr 11: Jonah Hex (2010)--meh...Good graphic comic gone bad during film conversion
  • 30 Apr 11: The Box (2009)--what a stupid ending, plus I was left with too many unanswered questions
  • 30 Apr 11: Knowing (2009)--I liked this one a whole lot better, and I was left fulfilled. Good story premise.
  • 6 May 11: Thor (2011)--my first ever 3D movie. Not a bad movie if you have never read the comics & didn't nit-pick a few inaccuracies. Overall, definitely worth seeing in 3D!
  • (Friday) 13 May 11: Priest in 3D (2011)--I liked it better than Thor. Not your typical vampire movie, which was refreshing. Definitely left an opening for a second film
  • 15 May 11: How to Train Your Dragon (2010)--what a super cute animated film. Definitely worth watching...probably a couple of times ;)
  • 22 May 11: The Boondock Saints (1999)--I must say I really enjoyed this movie. Just the right amount of humor and violence and humanity...what a weird yet wonderful combination
  • 22 May 11: The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day (2009)--ten years in the making...hmmm, missed the mark a bit, no real "reason" or motivation behind the boys' actions, but still a fan of the movie series. I wonder if it will be another ten years for the third, clearly questions remain & need resolution
  • 26 May 11: The Hangover Part Two (2011)--same movie, different city. Not as funny as the first one. And the monkey stole the show!
  • 27 May 11: Salt (2010)--a good little spy/action flick. I like Angelina Jolie in just about every movie she does though. She is an awesome BAB. It left an opening for a second movie...can't wait!
  • 28 May 11: The Dirty Dozen (1967)--one of my favorite war-time movies
  • 3 Jun 11: Bridesmaids (2011)--waste.of.theater.money. It was an okay movie...for a lazy Saturday at home when nothing good is on TV. While I'm not opposed to a female dropping the F-bomb (in fact, it's one of my favorite fucking words), it's use in this movie was ill-placed & at times destracting from the dialog
  • 10 Jun 11: Super 8 (2011)--great flick full of classic JJ Abrams suspense
  • 11 Jun 11: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010)--a fun way to pass the Saturday. Makes me want to look into the graphic novels
  • 11 Jun 11: Halloween II (2009)--Rob Zombie tries for the sequel. I like it when writer/directors use their fave actors & buddies in their films. It's like a little game for me, "She was in that other movie!" Fun times
  • 16 Jun 11: Inception (2010)--despite a very dizzying storyline, I enjoyed this yarn
  • 1 Jul 11: Bad Teacher (2011)--meh, funny in parts with a pretty predictable ending
  • 2 Jul 11: Despicable Me (2010)--The physical appearance of the please makes no difference. Such a cute movie! And it was so FLUFFY!
  • 4 Jul 11: Splice (2009)--weird yet mildly entertaining. The best line of the film: If you could understand crazy, it wouldn't br crazy.
  • 8 Jul 11: Horrible Bosses (2011)--by far the FUNNIEST movie I have seen in a super long time, and I say so because "I'm Motherfucker Jones!"
  • 22 Jul 11: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 in 3D (2011)--by no means am I a wizarding wonder...I guess that's why I thought it was okay. I liked the ending. And I supposed it would have helped if I actually saw the last two Harry Potter movies.
  • 29 Jul 11: Cowboys & Aliens (2011)--oh man, I have been looking forward to this movie ever since I saw the first trailer!! Great concept (a sci-fi western? c`mon! You gotta love it!), good movie...I guess all the anticipation was too much to stand up to.
  • 30 Jul 11: The Informant! (2009)--it's a good thing I had nothing to do on a Saturday night...
  • 12 Aug 11: The Change-Up (2011)--I just adore Justin Bateman and Ryan Reynolds is great to look at. A typical body swap comedy, funny and touching at parts.
  • 26 Aug 11: Fright Night 3D (2011)--great remake, not too campy and cheesy. Colin Farrell...grrrrr, he can bite me any day.
  • 2 Sep 11: Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (2011)--called tooth fairy in the first 3 minutes. More suspenseful than "scary" but a good flick nonetheless.
  • 3 Sep 11: Death Proof (2007)--hey, I was bored...and I remained bored through the entire film. I did, however, dig the (cough) artistic cinematography
  • 5 Sep 11: Insidious (2010)--pretty creepy, not a bad horror film. The psychic's two assistants were cracking me up
  • 9 Sep 11: Contagion (2011)--by far the scariest movie I've seen in a long time...and I'm not talking horror-type scary. BTW, Matt Damon...looking like an old kid
