- trees bearing no leaves that are blanketed in white powder
- snow days off from work
- the way the river looks covered in snow and ice
- the sound of the shovels clearing the streets
- watching snowflakes fall in the light from street lamps
- the way the tips of noses turn pale red from the cold chill
- seeing one's breathe in the air
- the crunch of the salt mixed with snow on the pavement
- everything covered in snow appears a little more romantic then it did before...
