  • yosemite falls: It's an easy walk (one quarter mile) on a paved path to Lower Yosemite Falls (Shuttle stop #8)
  • Bridalveil Falls : graceful, elegant waterfall, where the water is constantly changing patterns as it falls over the cliff into the valley below. It's a short walk (half mile) on a paved path to the base of the falls. The Bridal Veil Falls hike may only be ½ mile out and back and stroller accessible but it is a little steep. Huge bonus is that the waterfall runs year round, unlike many others which dry out in mid to late summer months. Must drive - off the 41.
  • Happy Isles – less crowded trail in summer, and a great spot to picnic by the river? Happy Isles is a not a long trail, but it's an especially nice one that winds through along the cascading Merced River, through the trees. Pick up the Happy Isles trail next to the Happy Isles Nature Center. (Shuttle stop #11)
  • Vernal mist trail: the hike from Happy Isles to Vernal Fall is a longer hike, it's about three miles round trip (no strollers on this trail). The trail starts at Happy Isles and goes to the footbridge over the Merced River. From the bridge, the Mist Trail winds up the rocky hillside next to the river to the top of Vernal Fall. The spray from the waterfall makes glowing rainbows in the sunshine. From the top, you can look over the edge of the waterfall
  • Sentinel Meadow Loop & Cook's Meadow . amazing views of Half Dome reflected in the Merced River. A 2.25 mile walk, great for strollers and offering lots of bathrooms, it’s a snap to stop off at Yosemite Valley Store for snacks before or after the trek. Shuttle Bus stop #11
  • Wawona Meadow Loop
  • Mirror Lake/Meadow Hike is another great walk, and the views of the water reflecting the surrounding area are amazing. (about a mile) - another reviewer says too busy in summer. biggest swimming spot.
