- complicated means of recycling/trashing things
- StudentenStadt (where I live) is huge. absolutely HUGE.
- lots of Asian restaraunts (of varying types..or just called "Asian")
- stores closed on Sundays, but restaurants still open.
- restaurants closed Mondays.
- my German is terrible :)
- people are friendlier than expected.
- there is an abundance of graph paper. most notebooks have graph paper rather than lined. odd!
- don't take the u-bahn on game days!
- Radler's are delicious
- sometimes the apartment is locked after 2 pm?
