Welcome to the IDOLiSH7 Reading/Watch Guide, made by someone who has been into the series since Early 2016 (the game came out mid 2015, the anime came out in 2017)! This is written with the intention for the new player experience, but it also contains many pieces of content older players may have missed.

"Should I watch the anime or read the game's story?" The anime actually does an extremely good job adapting the game's main story and doesn't cut anything too important. Reading the game version of what the anime has adapted is optional and only should be done if you really like the series and can't get enough of these good boys! Looking at the Miraheze Wiki of the anime episode in question will let you know which parts were cut.
