Why am I such a hypocrite...

'Yes I am a slug, bare, vulnerable and insignificant when compared to the world around me and yet I wouldn't choose to be anything else because as a slug I am completely open to the world, open to the malleability. Snails are protected but they cannot see change, they cannot be a part of it. I am a part of the world for I am visible. Sure slugs are slow but my movements are gradual because I want to enjoy every moment of the journey, just like my cousin said "moment by moment."

I wrote this for my Common App Essay I was pretty inspired during that hectic week. I squeezed out every ounce of creative juice from my mind and body. I wrote those words from the heart. I never lie when I write. I'm actually the most honest when I write, I guess I must have been pretty inspired when I wrote those words. Probably really needed to do something worthw...
