hero - because it's vague, overused, and often an inappropriate word choice
passion/passionate - overused to the point where it loses its meaning
reach out - instead of the simpler and more descriptive "talk to"
i feel like - instead of the more accurate "i think," particularly in academics
vehicle - when people pronounce the "h" it makes my skin crawl
"way to ___________" - condescending
good hustle - because it means absolutely nothing and reminds me of the horrendous soccer moms (and girls) of my youth
hey there - instead of "hi" or "hey" or "hello." unnecessary addition of a word, and condescending.
