- My cat has to like you - she's the only person / animal whose judgement matters; she is a damn good judge of character, too. If she doesn't like you, I'd probably kick you out. (Though you get more than one shot – she can take a few tries to warm up to someone)
- A good sense of humour - I don't laugh nearly as much as other people, and I need to start laughing sometimes. Did you know that laughter actually reduces stress?
- Not over-protective (I have enough of that, too!)

- Be a liiittle classy. So, like, don't... name your penis, or bully people because you think that you're better than them, and don't be rude to everyone, and don't wear the same shirt for like a week
- Don't treat me like I'm useless and pathetic and stupid and inept
- Someone tall, or at least tall-ish. I like at least a hand-width height difference (not mine :P)
- Smart, but not too smart. I like guys who I can learn things from, who are different from me, and hopefully you'll like learning things from me too!
- As above, you and I aren't the same person. Having stuff in common is great. Dating a mirror of me is BORING! :p
- My friends don't HAVE to like you - I mean, I'm me, I make my own choices, whether they like the guy or not - but they have to be able to at least accept that I love you. If you hurt me, and I'm ignoring it, and they say that you're abusive... and you ARE abusive, without a history of previous abuse in your life or reason to be? And if you refuse to turn yourself around? Then you're out.
- Kind of athletic. (This one I didn't realize on my own. My friend Angela pointed it out to me in, like, Grade 9. It's probably one of the only trends that the guys I've had feelings for have.)
- Even if he's athletic, not a lot of muscle. Muscle makes me very nervous.
- Guys who think in a quirky, unusual or unconventional way are sexy!
