As my nerdy qualities are unparalleled... a list of Asian (predominantly Japanese and Korean) drama series I have watched and/or loved.

  • Gokusen (JDrama/2002)
    • Yankumi, Shin, ETC. My first JDrama! Still holds up almost ten years later as a really fantastic series.
  • Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (JDrama/2007)
    • I was introduced to this show through a clip from an early episode of Nakatsu dancing on top of a table singing "I am not a homosexual!" while wearing a pink frilly bra over his shirt, and a matching pair of underwear on his head. That is one, among many other scenes, that cemented Nakatsu (and this show) in my heart.
  • Nobuta Wo Produce (JDrama/2005)
    • One of those profoundly good shows. (Will give a better description when I have re watched it, since it's been the or four years.)
  • Coffee Prince (KDrama/2007)
    • My favorite series thus far. Not only hilariously funny, but endearing and engaging. I am a sucker for anything with this much gender confusion, and the witty back-and-forth fills me with joy. Amazing series. Picspam ahoy!
