Trama: 10 personas, que no tienen nada en común, son invitadas por distintos anfitriones a una isla llamada La Isla del Negro. Cada uno va por distintas razones pero cuando llegan se dan cuenta de que les tendieron una trampa y fueron escogidos porque todos habían asesinado de forma indirecta a alguien, pero su crimen no podía ser penado por la ley. Así, cada uno de los invitados es asesinado uno a uno, de distintas formas pero siempre siguiendo una canción de niños que se llama " 10 negritos". Los invitados comienzan a sospechar que el tal Owen, supuesto dueño de la isla, se encuentra escondido en algún lado, pero luego se dan cuenta que este asesino puede ser uno de ellos.
