  • I don't obviously condone the shitty actions my characters may or may not have done in their stories. I don't romanticize that shit, and keep it honest, because most horrid things I've written about, I've had with my own personal experiences. I have characters who realize that what they did is wrong, and will strive to make up for it, and become a better person. I also have characters that are assholes, and are meant to be assholes. [You're meant to not like them like you would with a protagonist. If you don't like them, but can relate to them, and can understand them just a bit, then I've done my job as the writer. At least, that's just how I feel about it.]
