Heated rivalry - maybe review

This is not a slow-burn romance in any sense of the term: if pages are to be taken into account, we have them banging in the first chapter; if we consider the timeline of the story, we have a truly terrible case of edging for both of them. Plus, Ilya is of the school of thought that sees light bullying as foreplay - and both I, as a reader, and Shane are gluttons for both experiences.

Shane's intrusive thoughts and Ilya's lip curves are the real MVPs of the book.
