- accidentally having colour-coordinated my book order (in beautiful shades of turquoise: the paperback edition of "The Bedlam Stacks" and the German edition of Julia Child's cookbook)

- making plans with Hanne to trade self-made sourdough, jam and tempeh for books and dvds, i hope it works out ~ Hanne really brought over the food parcel, beautifully packaged, with a rosemary twig and a hand-drawn label on the strawberry jam
- Natasha Pulley tweeted that her next book is going to be out in May 2021!
- things i'd like to do: learn more about japanese fairy tales & myths, dance on my own (salto and twists?) & dance salsa, go strawberry picking on a farm and go pet some farm animals, paint aquarelles
- the top of the rhubarb stalks where the leaves have been shortened, so they look like little dragon lizards
- the Old Man of Hoy in Sense8, his overall Scottish accent, especially his ludicrously rolled r's
- preparing a little south-america themed package from rebuy for Meike, so she holds on to her travel plans for the future (picking everything out was the best part: allende, garcia marquéz, esquivel - bittersweet chocolate - a classic it seems, and a dvd of che guevara's travels by motorcycle)
