  • volunteer at food pantries & homeless shelters
  • provide food and/or shelter to needy animals
  • light incense & candles every day; make everything around me smell like jasmines, vanilla, and hazelnut
  • fill vases with fresh flowers
  • roam the streets of downtown in whatever city i live; visit all the best bookstores, bakeries, and coffee shops
  • contribute time & money to local nonprofits & activists
  • engage in dedicated community building
  • write for at least a an hour every day
  • write letters to friends, loved ones, penpals
  • actually call people up & ask how they're doing
  • donate at least $50/month to kiva, islamic relief, & other charities
  • work random jobs in my spare time to pick up new skills
  • learn to sew & start making my own dresses
  • improve my arabic & practice new languages
  • become adept at mundane adult tasks; fixing my car, taxes, etc.
  • eat clean as often as possible
  • keep a diary & write absolutely everything i think/feel, no filters
  • pick a few thought-provoking magazines to subscribe to; discover, smithsonian, nat geo, science daily, psych today, etc.
