  • "The Logical Song" - Supertramp

Why? This song is about growing up, and how the world steals your innocence over the years. It's about how hard times force you to be cold and logical--and when I was very young, I was exposed to a lot of trauma that forced me to be cold and logical as a means of protection.

I was still a kid, though, which is why I think this song is the best description. The tune is still happy, which I hope helps to indicate that in many ways, I was still very childlike.

  • "Spiral Mountain" - Grant Kirkhope

Why? It's childlike, but also has hints of darkness.
