  • Eat the frog. Not sure where this phrase came from, but I'm told it means "Do the hardest and most distasteful tasks first. In the morning. When you have no concept of how awful you are at something, and your distaste for it hasn't fully awoken yet."
  • Everybody looses. Everyone on this earth has insecurities. Some of them hide it, others are not so lucky (or unlucky). It is how you handle your failures and insecurities that will make you honorable or dishonorable.
  • Don't worry yourself over desperately trying to keep others from making their own mistakes. Without pain we do not grow. Without growth, our life never matures.
  • Do what you love in whatever capacity you can. Be prepared to have to work very hard for it. Don't put it off until tomorrow, because tomorrow doesn't exist for you yet.
  • Whatever you want to learn, learn it every day. It doesn't have to be a lot. Just enough.
  • Saying "I have done this," is better than saying "I will do this." This is just a personal observation, and one that I don't follow enough.
  • Outlines are 80% of writing. (For me, anyway.)
