I'm realistic. I won't write a guy off if he doesn't embody everything on this list, but I know what I like.

• Makes me laugh and is able to laugh at himself.
• Open-minded and respectful.
• Ambition. I never realized what a turn on it is. The problem is finding someone with compatible goals.
• Has a definite sense of personal hygiene (smells good, takes care of his teeth, bathes regularly) and carries himself well.
• Willing to compromise and try new things. Especially food; I love food.
• Compassionate and empathetic, but not overly sensitive or needy.
• Has interests beyond video games and sports. Preferably books and movies.
• Has some sort of talent (artistic/musical is a bonus!) or teaches me something new. In other words, he has something to offer. #
• Exposes me to good music. Listens to music outside of popular radio and Top 40.
• Understands that sometimes I just need my space.

# Note: Musicians (of rock bands) would make terrible boyfriends. Proceed with caution.
