• What inspired Bel's character, or if Shiro prompted you, what influences did you have?

That's a really great question, and I don't think I've got a good answer for you, unfortunately.

The only part I really had in the affair was the fact that I wanted a Ghost-type gijinka. The rest is a bit fluid, though it definitely involved some bouncing conversation back and forth between Shirogane and me. My memory is awful, I'm really sorry!

Bel was conceived of as a lying little thief and grew into... a lying little thief with a lot of interesting sidequalities (and a drop-dead gorgeous girlfriend (pun intended)). In general, I just 'meet' my characters and learn things about them. They're often well-formed when they get to me and it's my job to learn how to communicate so they sound like themselves.

• OH NO THERE IS ONLY ONE PARACHUTE, WHAT WILL OCCUR BETWEEN 21, 53 AND 104?

21 = Tinusul (redheaded elven chick from my LOTR phase, main love interest, mysterious forest woman)53 = Vin (half of a soul, the half without feeling but with physical strength)104 = Bel (the most honest honest ever to honest)

• .. in this case, Bel takes the parachute and leaves the other two to die (because Vin wouldn't care enough to make an effort, especially if Ker wasn't there, and Tinusul was not. terribly self-interested.)

Someone'd have to convince him to take it seriously first. He wouldn't have an issue with fighting her, but he wouldn't have an issue with the outcome, either, no matter which way it went.

• Do you think Bel would be able to beat the other partners?

Well, again, someone'd have to convince him to take it seriously. Bel isn't terribly competitive or dangerous until then, and I don't think, in a tournament situation, it'd be easy to convince him to make an effort.

{...skipped a few questions...} He would fight back, that was always stated. :< He just doesn't care if he wins or loses, which is proportionate to the amount of effort put in.

That said, he wouldn't have any issue with fighting any of the other partners, and if he was making any effort, he'd probably do well enough.

• .. :|a I suppose he is somewhat, actually. He was quite fascinated by physical sensation after he got turned, and I suppose having come from being 100% incorporeal his whole life/evolution line, he'd certainly be. Sensitive. To being tickled.

It would probably depend on the person, to be honest. He tends to keep one step out of lunging distance from most people at all times. :x But no, he probably wouldn't be angry.

Nothing to be ashamed of, good anon. :V I think the hard part of this question is convincing him that someone could kidnap Rei and be strong enough to kill her. He's got a lot of faith in her ability to manage herself. :U

Welcome back, kind anon, you keep me company. :< Bel. Doesn't have a lot of strong feelings towards most. :|a But he thinks Ash and Zan are both idiots. He'd also rather not have anything to do with Lyrit, Hari or Nao. Everyone else who isn't Rei falls on the "You're not a ghost so who gives a fuck" side of the spectrum. He won't have anything to do with the humans like Erin or Lee.

• What's Bel's favorite food/least favorite food? How tall/heavy is he? If he was forced to uphold a conversation with Lyrit, what would he say? *muahaha questions*

Oh man tough questions. :O I would say his favourite foods are spicy (I'm thinking along the lines of curry, but), and consequently he doesn't like bland things, but I actually think he just hates soup. IT ISN'T REAL FOOD!1!

He is shota height and shota weight. :( He's very small, though probably bigger than both Nao and Z. There was once a list of partners arranged by height and I have no idea where that is anymore, but it would be helpful here. He's rather wiry, though.

Probably. The same things he'd normally say. To anyone else. But he'd be two steps out of lunging distance and very B|-faced.
