rich, fudgy brownies with swirls of vegan dulce de leche
- ingredients
- 1 cup flour (i used half oat flour, half rice flour)
- ½ cup dutch cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar (i used stevia tday)
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup melted coconut oil
- ¾ cup plant-based milk
- ½ cup vegan dulce de leche
- method:
- whisk together the dry ingredients first, then pour over the wet ingredients - excpt dulche the leche
- pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly, just at this point drizzle the dulce de leche over the batter swirling it gently with a knife to create a marbled effect
- bake at 175° for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean (a few fudgy crumbs are fine)
- before slicing the brownies must be completely cool
- ↣ using bitter cocoa bc dulche de leche is SUPER sweet, the key is balance
