( if i ask you a question that seems weird or out of place , this is probably why. part of my therapy for it is trying to make sense of situations so that i don't assume people are out to hurt me anymore , and the best thing you can do if i describe my fears to you is to explain that it's just me. )
• i have hyperempathy to the point that i genuinely feel bad if i can't manage to provide useful advice when someone is venting. that doesn't mean that you can't vent to me , but i may try really hard to do what i can to help your situation. if you don't want that , and just want to vent , please say that at the beginning. ( that being said , i tend to get exhausted very quickly when people vent continuously about suicide specifically , so if i don't have the energy to listen or help , please know it's not because i don't like you. )
• nsfw jokes are okay , but please don't make them about me , specifically , it makes me incredibly uncomfortable unless we're very very very close.
• a lot of times i'll open a message and forget to reply , even though i meant to. i'm not trying to ignore you ! if it's been a little while , just try sending something else , i'll usually always respond as long as i remember.
