- too young to know it gets better, i'll be summer sun for you forever.
- holding hands while the walls come tumbling down. when they do, i'll be right behind you.
- that tomorrow can wait for some other day to be, but right now there's you and me.
- trying to find a new you but i heard you got lost, trying to figure your worth. what the hell does that cost?
- short skirts in cold weather, doing homework at 3 am, overcast days, patterned bandaids, empty pill bottles, cracked mirrors, stacks of rings, layered jewelry, messy nail polish
- sneaking out with friends, smudged lipstick, earbuds turned up all the way, sweaters falling to your knees, high socks, cold breezes in fall, harsh fluorescent lights
- somewhere you'd never expect to find anyone else. the roof of an abandoned building at sunset, maybe, or early morning in a dew-covered field. you come here to be alone, but you find you don't mind the company
- you're leaving a cafe and your foot hooks around the leg of their chair. you trip and fall on the floor, laughing awkwardly and apologizing profusely for their spilled drink. they laugh and hand you a napkin to clean yourself off, and when you look at it later you see a phone number written on it.
- you've known them forever. you're already so comfortable around them, but you never thought you would see each other like that.
- late night calls just to tell you you're pretty, their eyes on you when they think you're not looking, sharing each others' clothes so much you basically share a wardrobe, wishing on a star
