- 01|s. it was actually a pretty amazing new year's day. i worked, but i got off and played minecraft with dan, his dad, his brother bryan, and his boys. then i picked up some bogo pizzas for will at walgreens and chilled for the rest of the night. lots of planning and excitement for the new year.
- 02|s. this morning was a bit rough, but the day pulled together pretty well. planning some activities for the kids. thinking about making some bread to save in the fridge. played 7 days with d for a little while, watched an episode of grey's while i folded clothes, and watched far from home with d.
- 03|m. long day at work (8-5); went to heath's for a bit to take t her heavy jacket and talk to him about flying to austin. out of the abyss dungeons & dragons.
- 04|t. spiderman: no way home && omg teaaars. it really helped me decompress and reset how i've been feeling lately. i had to work, even though i thought this was going to be the first week i had tuesdays off. ended the evening watching jawoodle with dan. <3 got my flight booked.
- 05|w. new rules at work? we'll see. paid the deposit on t's birthday party; getting kind of excited for that. bought the software for my classes this semester. cooked instant pot enchilada tacos and the girls liked them. my mom asked for money for that man. :( she then asked for it for her, and i agreed to that because it is for her.
- 06|r. snow day! we got like an inch and a half of snow around 8-9am. they cancelled school at like 6am so we just had a chill day at home except for going out to target. a bit worried about this rash that has showed up on gavin.
- 07|f. played minecraft with tressy and dan. i won a couponing workshop. my mom came by and borrowed money from me and seemed hateful to me about it.
- 08|s. today was an odd day. i felt out of my mind a bit, but it was a very productive day. not only did i start writing out the questions for my linux chapters and my duolingo vocabulary, i organized things in the bathroom, got so much laundry folded, and played with the kids. it was an amazing day.
- 09|s. started to feel a bit down and out. didn’t talk to dawn all day pretty much. still did a lot of stuff around the house and with the kids. played space aliens, and they seemed to really enjoy that.
- 10|m. got up early and took the kids to school; i was surprised that i woke straight up at 5:30am. i napped for a bit then picked t up from school for her wellness visit. when we finished that we hung out at the house and then went to hobby lobby when her dad got off work. i made a couponing walmart run and was a tad late for matt’s game of dungeons and dragons i played my kalashtar circle of stars druid.
- 11|t. today was mostly do all the things on my routine. i also cleaned the stove, bathroom, washed all the sheets in the house. i studied for like an hour and a half and the ethical hacking book is boring as hell. spent the evening with d working on our city base in 7 days to die.
- 12|w. it wasn't a bad day overall, i woke up kinda late and not feeling well. work went quickly enough and then i picked up the kids and did a kroger run. then will picked up the desk from me here and i spent the evening with the littles.
- 13|r. covid. again. i woke up with a fever so i took the kids to school and went to check in to urgent care. i came home, ate, and showered while i was waiting (2 hour wait, yo), but by the time i was called in, i was pretty certain i had covid again. i was right.
- 14|f. dan was supposed to start hanging out with his kids today but alex had to quarantine for possible close contact. he's really depressed about that. i spent the day in minecraft. i built a kelp farm and rebuilt t's house.
- 15|s. turns out the kids don't actually have covid, except ashy. the machine that gave their results gave out a lot of false positives. that explains why i feel so much worse than everyone else too. another day of mostly minecraft. hung out in canada's stream for the evening.
- 16|s. tressy's birthday! video called my girl. i'm so happy for her but i miss her so much. had david pick up the pizzas for me; felt a little better, but i think i pushed myself a bit hard.
- 17|m. i felt awful and didn't do anything. couldn't rest well and then tasha was being a bit of a pain when i was actually sleeping. i had heath agree to watch the kids til wednesday for me. made lots of things in minecraft and studied.
- 18|t. slept late. focused on getting school stuff done for the first week;
- 27|r. had a really amazing morning taking the kids to school and then napped. d and i did some cable management for the new desk spaces & then we picked up the twins after a half day for their wellness checkup. ran errands for a bit and then picked up the eldest. taco bell; late night run to target. homework to round out the night.
- 31|m. spent most of the day at work listening to hexed and it made it pass kind of fast. out of the abyss dungeons & dragons where we fought skeletons animated by buppido and received another side quest to lay a deep gnome's spirit to rest by finding his animated hand with personal signet ring and returning it to his family. ooc: the party rolled to see which language dan will be learning with me and it turned out to be romanian. :D
