• Diary of a Wimpy Kid - something tells me that the reader is intended to identify with the protagonist in a sympathetic way, but he is a most despicable, loathsome coward lacking in both decency, dignity and empathy.
• The Joy Luck Club - Ooh! Someone from the admin office taped a tell-all conversation one night at Friday Happy Hour. Seems like she really got crazy after 2 margaritas! How stimulating and cultural!
