- This afternoon, I went to Lull Farm and bought plants for my vegetable garden. Growseedsgrow, Boston lettuce, "Big Boy" tomatoes, basil, eggplants, and zucchini!
- Bicycling makes me incredibly happy.
- Denny's with all of you makes me incredibly happy.
- Over the past 24 hours, I have rapid-cycled between being thrilled to be home and wanting to be nowhere that I know.
- Seeing conservative bumper stickers and a "Jesus saves" sign nailed to a tree again comes as culture shock.
- Eventually, everything will come down from my walls. Living in a plain bright buttercup yellow room might be a good idea.
- Tomorrow, I will wake up and go for a run to a cheesy pop soundtrack, visit Salvation Army, drink coffee at Bon Hoffer's, and read old New Yorkers in the sunshine. This is completely ideal.
- Ambivalence always keeps nostalgia in check.
