today i tried another minimal outfit to go to the grocery store. black tank top + greyish black jeans + black bomber jacket felt really cute. i also complemented the fit with a bracelet, earrings and a neckless. and also my aurora nails that were pretty cool. i'll talk about some pros and cons in leaving the house in a minimal outfit/having a minimal wardrobe.

  • pros:
    • it's simple and clean. you can look stylish efortless.
    • keeping the same color pallette makes everything way easier cause it all goes together no matter what.
    • it doesn't draw attention on you
    • kinda mysterious tbh. especially if it's all black.
    • investing in minimal pieces of clothing it's timeless. cause if you invest in trendy ones, you'll problably stop using that in like 2 years or less. minimal pieces are forever.
  • cons
    • a bit boring tbh, it skips the whole part of dressing up. that sometimes could be exhaustive and painful, but once you get the look, it's fullfiling for someone who tries too hard.
    • you can't actually show your personality (but why would i want to show who i am for people at the grocery store, right? no one cares)
    • repetition
      • that being said, it's way more pros than cons, in constrast with other styles and aesthetics, that take way longer to invest and get out of trend easily.... timeless investiment, like i've said before. i've also noticed that i already have a lot of minimal pieces in my wardrobe. i just need to clean everything up.
      • imma thinking about buying a adidas piece, it's a long sleeve black blouse, it has a quarterzip in it, and also a hand detail. it's gorgeous but i don't think i'll have the chance to wear it a lot cause i'ts too damn hot here. until the day i get some money, i might change my idea as i always do tbh. but i really want it. expensive as well.
