  • Meaning: This Beatitude speaks to those who recognize their spiritual poverty. We need God to sustain us. It’s about humility and acknowledging that we cannot achieve righteousness on our own.

• What is the word? The gospel. True salvation involves a heartfelt trust in His sacrifice and resurrection, not just the words or prayers spoken. It comes from believing with all your mind, heart and soul that Jesus died for our sins, was buried and God raised Him up on the third day.

• I belong to God, the devil has no hold over me. God resists the proud so I resist pride and I humble myself under God's mighty hand. I renounce all pride, arrogance, ego, vanity, and disobedience in the name of Jesus. I renounce all selfishness, self-will, self-pity, self-rejection, self-hatred, self-promotion in the name of Jesus. I renounce all ungodly thought patterns and belief systems that oppose the word of God. In humility, I value others above myself. I seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness. • 1. Lord, this time is for you. May I let go of all distractions and devote this time in your presence.

　　　— Facing difficult times is a part of life, but it's important to understand that these challenges do not come from God. God is not the source of evil, suffering, or death; rather, evil entered the world through sin. While God doesn't cause these hardships, He can offer comfort, strength, and hope in the midst of them:
