  • Our relationship with God has to continually progress.
  • Matthew 5:6
    • ↪ Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
  • John 10:10
    • ↪ The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and enjoy life, and have it in abundance. [to the full, till it overflows]

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE FULL?

      • Containing or holding as much as possible; having no empty space.
  • 1 Corinthians 3:16-17
    • ↪ Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroy God's temple, God will destroy that person; for God's temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.
  • Allow your vessel to be under God's outpour. When we only get near the living fountain, we're tempted to find other pours.

I'M NOT HEARING GOD ANYMORE

  • Get under the pour where abundance flows.
  • Go where God is speaking. Read your Bible. Pray.
  • Your relationship with Jesus doesn't feel the same, because you don't fill it like you used to.
  • We need to be positioned for the pour. It's a continual relationship with God's spirit.
  • 1 Kings 8:10-11
    • ↪ And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the Glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.

THREE WAYS WE CAN TREAT OUR TEMPLE

    • PREPARE.
    • Proactively build time in your schedule for God.
  • 1 Kings 6:19
    • ↪ He prepared the inner sanctuary at the far end of the temple, where the ark of the Lord's covenant would be placed.
  • If you're working on your relationship with Jesus, don't feel discouraged. It's the little that takes us a long way. When you wake up, do your first 15: five minutes for Bible reading, five minutes for worship and five minutes for prayer. Double it overtime.
    • PROTECT.
    • Protect your ear gates and protect your eye gates.
  • 1 Kings 6:21
    • ↪ Then Soloman overlaid the rest of the temple's interior with solid gold, and he made gold chains to protect the entrance to the most Holy place.
  • Ephesians 6:13-18
    • ↪ Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
    • PURPOSE.
  • Ephesians 2:19-22
    • ↪ Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God's people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.
