• Monnika (Moxxi) Vivetra - goes mostly by Moxxi; homage to my old friend Monica, whose nickname was Moxxie.
• Hana's purple hair from chapters 1-6: Homage to my old friend Ola, who always had purple side-swept hair and an undercut on the opposite side.
• Spike and Teddy the cats: Based off the real Spike and Teddy, although colours & personalities are reversed.
• Colours: The ongoing colour theme is pink, purple and blue. This is partially personal aesthetic, partially a nod to the days when my old roommates (who helped me with the comic in its early days) and I were very close, and those three colours were our faves.
• Noruh himself: The personification of my Toronto
• Effra: No spoilers but I channel my intense resentment of the UK into her lol
