Regional

What I like so much about spain is that you really can’t make it as just one nation, because every region in it is different in its own way, with all the people in it who are all closely connected but still so different. This country, formed by centuries of civil war, conquista and reconquista, this country that still struggles even now due to infighting. There’s really a common theme with infighting. The fall of the republics came with the heavy defeat of the people who wanted a change for the better. They didn’t last long due to pressure from the opposing parties, lack of support, and the constant internal conflicts that only weakened it. These, internal conflicts that we still have, they pull us further away from what we want because we cannot fight as one for the greater good. We cannot win when there’s always one person demanding more than the other.

Nation

Spain has taken many steps as to not be like his past authoritarian state. I imagine spain would keep the memories of franco’s spain and the republican party. It was a civil war full of atrocities and infighting, everyday he burdens those memories of violence and massacre. He’s grown to hate his franco era, hence coming forth the transition out of it he does all his best to “repent”. Repentance I think can be a very heavy thing to carry. Especially for a historically religious country like spain, I like to imagine that he’s formed some strange view over religion. Always fearing of losing this relationship he’s built with God, always thinking of some way to do “what’s right”, but maybe even. Using it to justify his radical beliefs. And realizing his sins, he grows a deep insecurity and hatred in himself. Because once you know you’re a bad person, you can’t think of anything else.

Adding to this, with repentance comes rejoice. Rejoice, finally accepting who you are and living a true happy life. I can’t say that the people of spain are totally happy with the new government, but that’s the journey of repentance. You sin, you regret, you hold yourself accountable and commit to change, and the process itself isn’t so straightforward. Sometimes you fail and go back to your roots, but then you stop and try to make up for it again. Spain has a love-hate relationship with himself. For the PSOE, I find that process really similar. We get promised a better change, but then we receive an unsatisfactory result. A result that may even be worse than before. Therefore the people grow tired angry. In the same way, when we sin we may hurt others. So in this sense, Spain is an absolute wreck. He doesn’t know what he’s doing but he tries to appeal to his people’s needs, but executing them in a way that’s best always burns him out, and that leads to another problem, laziness

I feel like I’ve talked a lot of nonsense

This is pure analysis
