gen info- group works to protect the city. powers are related to eye color; most of the group is constantly in bandages bc of the strength of power and strict training regime. consists of five people: three girls, and two boys with a manager to oversee training and pr matters. superpowers arent bad but are unusual- rare genetic traits. powers provide rly rly good opportunity but also cause a lot of stress on groups, hence the group manager. but multiple groups like this exist- ppl w powers that handle the general safety of the world. maybe some kind of frequent antagonist to warrant the need for such groups?

elemental group (work)[]

group of five kids from across a vast country brought together to create ruin and fulfill a prophecy. powers are all based on natural diasters- taken from villages after natural disaster strikes or before as preventative measure. taught by a priest of the main city and taken to the king and crown prince. priest is actually the antagonist of the story wanting to fulfill the bad prophecies and to bring crown prince to the dark side and remake the world.

powers are based on receiving the spirits and sharing the powers between them- every user has another spirit residing with them

lot and lots of prophecies - dual use of the elementals for good or bad ; son causing kings death ; downfall of the son(sun)

king- powers related to sun/moon or light/dark ; prophecised to be killed by son.

crown prince - powers relating to sun/moon or light/dark

royal mili advisor - featured heavily in the story of the fire/lightning elemental- tells her to stop trying to control her powers and to better understand them instead; pushes her to the limits; fond of pupil bc he sees a lot of strength in her; very close to crown prince

priest - studied and was corrupted by spirit of light; wants the elementals to lose control like in the past -

fire and lightning elemental - forest fires and thunderstorms unusual to have two types- uncontrollable powers- hurt the village a lot and is an outcast bc when she received her powers she couldnt control them; both a blessing an a curse, result of two lineages marrying

ice elemental - blizzard hates water elemental- taken before his natural disaster, upon learning the water elemental destroyed her village her is very antagonistic to her

water elemental - tsunamis and or flooding flooded out village during the rainy season after failing to control the spirit within her- lots of internal conflict and resentment from the ice elemental

earth elemental - earthquakes and landslides tall and well built nomadic person of the plains. not many nomads are seen in the main city and has a specific scene with a blind tailor who sees through her spirits. falls in love with air elemental

air elemental - tornadoes quiet and dreamy - takes a liking to earth elemental. very minor subplot for both- learning about acceptance; culture is diff in air villages and thus they understand the beauty and also the danger in tornadoes - probs the most well adjusted to curse/blessing of the nature of their spirits.
