I had to ask for a raise several times before securing it! I am persistent and I persevere.

I held my ground and secured a two week vacation.

I traveled to and survived Vietnam and trying times in my relationship.

I did a whole 30.

I followed my instinct and dreams and put together a Halloween costume I loved.

• What mistakes did I make that taught me something?

I let Brittney manipulate my feelings. I took her out to lunch and embarrassed myself when I knew better.

I let myself wallow in self pity

I lived in the past and future instead of the present.
