- Tell the bank that my mother has passed.
- Find out my mother's debts and whether or not I'm obligated to take care of them
- Tell people that I'm seeking assistance with the burial through the state, fill out forms, contact FIA.
- Collect all important paperwork on my mother's finances and spending
- Call the people who asked for my mother's "anatomical donation" and the people at Beaumont about what funeral home that I've decided on. Probably going to be Generations
- Seek out monetary assistance on the funeral costs
