- it's a cultural thing. theyre ethnically half sylph (sylphs are a race of huntsverse(?) humans, like saying black people or white people or latinx people or whatever), and theres a thing among the sylph where theres a third, neutral gender identity. this gender identity is p much the concept of lacking a gender identity, so they would be something in btwn neutrois and agender irl -- culturally neutrois, but agender in the actual feeling of the thing. i don't know if i'm making sense... apologies!
