on shipping

  • it's not a big deal. just be nice.
  • the free! 3rd year quad are my driving force. all my fandom content will focus on them in some way whether it be through friendship, romance, or them as individuals.
  • my shipping endeavors focus primarily on souharu and soumako because those are the fandoms i feel the most comfortable and welcome in. however i am endlessly open to all 3rd year combinations for conversation, fanwork, etc.
  • i aim to make thoughtful and respectful content for all ships that anyone could at least appreciate even if they don't ship it, but if souharu, soumako, or open multishipping bother you on a fundamental level you might not enjoy my content.

on philosophy

  • individual character personalities and their potential for interaction are more important to me as a content creator than established canon interaction. canon is not my end all, be all. i like to focus on what could happen under different circumstances. to me, that is the definition of transformative work.
  • fandom is not a safe space. fandom does not need censoring. you are responsible for your own exposure. a creator's responsibility for your experience begins and ends at tagging.

in general

  • i don't mind who follows or unfollows me for whatever reasons, no explanation needed.
  • i don't fight on the internet about things.
  • i have minimal patience for public fandom drama, tumblr-brand fandom discourse, insulting others personally over fiction, witch hunting, etc. basically don't be an asshole and mind your own business.
  • free! is my main fandom. if it's not on my fandom list, i probably don't like it or want it on my tl. i mute people/rts/keywords liberally to avoid this. it isn't personal.
