- originally planned to get a PhD in biological science
- estranged from her family because she went on to pursue something she enjoyed
- halfway through her major, she realized she wanted to go into the education stream as well as art history
- took more than four years to get her double degree (and she's super proud of herself that she worked hard through that especially since she felt inadequate & helpless at times)
- after university, she traveled the world and wrote articles for well-known journals
- also collaborated with a popular archaeologist for an expedition that became a game-changer in the historical community
- her parents still don't talk to her despite her accomplishments
- but as a result, her life is basically a big fat 'spite you' and she loves it
