Shows I had tickets for but couldn't make it for one reason or another:

• U2, the Zoo TV tour in Albany (1992?). I had tickets, and my friend was supposed to come down to my college and stay the weekend and we'd drive up to the show. She flaked. I was out $80 because I didn't have a ride.
• Yeah Yeah Yeahs, paradise 2002 (flu, sold the ticket)
• Devo/Yeah Yeah Yeahs/stellastarr*, Central Park 2005 (stupid bus took 9 hrs to get to NYC from Boston, so I missed it. Still mad!)
• Henry Rollins Spoken word thing, can't remember where, 2003? (I had strep throat)
• Maximo Park, TT's 2005 - was on the guest list, but didn't know who they were and it was raining really hard and I didn't have a good way to get to the show, so I flaked. I still regret that!
• The Stills, someplace in NYC 2005? They cancelled the show; they were going to reschedule it, but they didn't. Instead they refunded the tickets. Alas.
• VHS or Beta, Middle East, 2005 - the label rep said I was on the guest list, but when I got there I totally wasn't!
• Editors, Paradise 2006 - the dude said I was on the guest list (the spots were the prize in some drawing, but the chick who drew the prize didn't want it and gave it to me!) However, when I got there I totally wasn't on the list and it was sold out. I was bummed.
• !!!/Holy Fuck, Paradise 5/13/07 - got tickets way in advance and they moved the show's date and place. I didn't find out about the new info (moved 3 days earlier) until way too late. Still so bummed about that!
• Head Automatica/Radio 4, Great Scott 1/10/09 - Radio 4 flipped their van and wrecked all their equipment. Luckily, nobody was hurt! I think Head Automatica still played, but I really only wanted to see R4.
• Maximo Park, Paradise Boston 09/20/09 - they cancelled the show! Bummer!
• Simian Mobile Disco/the Juan MacLean, Paradise Boston 03/21/11 - feeling sick, weather is crappy, just feeling generally run-down and lame.
• Mission of Burma/Shepherdess, Brighton Music Hall 1/21/12 - stayed for opening band and 2 songs of MoB before drunken annoying friend got kicked out and I had to walk him home and keep him from driving. Argh.
• DJ Shadow/Cut Chemist/Edan, House of blues Boston. 09/13/14. I don't know why I didn't go to this. I'm a complete dumbass. I think I was tired and not feeling well and was at the boyfriend's house across town in Somerville.
