user picture midori: It definitely caught me off guard, as I thought it was going to be sort of a K!ON like high school drama. It's a scifi anime that can get very confusing if you don't watch it chronological order. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Melancholy_of_Haruhi_Suzumiya_episodes I recommend watching the series in "C" order, or else characters will popup in the episodes and you don't even know who they are, lol. It's worth watching, I believe it's one of the most critically acclaimed animes.
