she loves unconditionally (I have done some seriously stupid things in my life and she still loves me)
she has held on to so many traditions from her mom (holidays are so special because of this)
she is a great example of a good wife (choose your battles) and mother (a great listener)
she is very supportive (my life has not been "traditional" but she still supports me)
she is the best grandmother (she will babysit at ANYTIME, even is she has to fly to NM)
she is there to help, at the drop of a hat (she is so generous with her time even though she has a million of her own projects to work on)
her creativity is always flowing (I can call her for ideas, and she always comes through)
she is a gardening queen! (I learned everything I know from her...and that's a lot!)
she is a trooper! (once she fell and hit her head...30 minutes later she was at Cedar Point!)

He is a wonderful and interactive Dad with his 2 sons
He completed an IronMan and is a fanatic with Crossfit workouts.
He called me up at 3am to tell me that I was going to Woodstock concert with him in NY.
He took me to my first concert- Violent Femmes
He is a Major in the US Air Force and a pilot* He loves mountain biking and often subjects himself to crazy challenges like endurance races. (in a 24 hours, how many times can you ride a 10 mile trail? wha?!)
He is so smart it makes my head spin, yet he has been know to lack common sense.
He has gone running in the woods and come back with only one sock
He lives in a cool adobe house in NM at the foot Sandia mountain

Because i can
It keeps my family and friends "in the know"
It reminds me to live a blog-able life
I can look back to a trip or event when I forget
I connect with people I never would have "met" offline
I love the idea that my kids could someday get to know their mother in a different light
Its a place to feature my best pictures
It's a creative outlet
I love writing (and need a lot of practice)
I hope something [from travel and cooking and crafting] could inspire others
