after some point I decided to stop worrying about the overall tone of the mix (i.e. whether each song matched a tonal theme - slow and sad or faster and more upbeat) and started putting them together under three categories: 1. Immediately following the burning of Ohara and Robin, as a young child, on the run, 2. Years after this, when Robin had become an outlaw (dangerous, friendless, paranoid, and feared) taking on jobs in shady organisations in order to further her dream of finding the Poneglyphs, and 3. The times sort of immediately following joining the Strawhats and tentatively starting again. Of course you can choose to interpret the lyrics differently - these are just the personal connections I made between Robin & the tracks I used. I also recommend reading this after listening to the mix!
