- Leave behind recordings and writings that will actually uplift and inspire people.
- Some house, full of windows and light, near nature but not in the line of disaster. Lol.
- Vegetable garden.
- Thriving violin teaching studio.
- More lessons with classical, south indian, and voice teachers (maybe 1x/month?)
- Do I want to go back into New York, try for musical/sub gigs?
- Write those plays and novels.
- Help or start foundations to give poorer children musical instruments and lessons.
- Make some interesting dance and ambient tracks on my midi keyboard.
- I would feel better when I die if I do something to feed hungry people.

- The real life stuff is a PITA for some reason
- Make a list of people you have to call and just do it, get it freaking over with. Gross, I know.
- Make appointments for all the health things. Yes, there are 4 phone calls. Yes, I know it's horrible and you hate it. It's OK. Find some reward for afterward, like a bouquet of flowers or something.
- Try to book the dentist now, for right after the tooth cleaning. Yes, I know. But you have teeth, and it would be nice to keep having teeth. Lol!
- New hairdresser, since the old ones are friends with some weirdos? Or is that petty? They'll probably want to gossip about it with you though.
- Ehh, do you really want to find a costume for CommuniCon? That's more luggage.
- Look into spinner luggage for February?
jan 1 2013 ∞ jan 1 2013 +
- The music derives directly from the light and sound meditation, from the sound portion
- Maybe incorporate that music more directly
- What is the point of all of this? Create beautiful music and writing to uplift and heal the world, correct? Yes. Stay on track with that. Enough of the greedy, enslaving weirdos.
- Listen to the old South Indian violin tapes
- Do you want to study jazz, or do you think it's a dead art form? Seriously. How can you make it fresh and new? This would open up some new gigs for you, as a legit jazz player. Transcribe Grappelli/Venuti also.
- VOICE LESSONS. Email your voice teacher TODAY.
- Eh, what new equipment do you need? Maybe...

- Listen, this is not so hard. You've done this already for Community.
- Read that SEO book, okay?
- Look into what you want to do with Google. Maybe list the website on search engines?
- Try to be your own boss. Other musicians are sometimes weird and you keep running into the same greedy crap, over and over.
- Work out daily posting schedule on Facebook, twitter, myspace, Pinterest, tumblr, Youtube (you have a cheap video camera, so why not?), Google+
- Keep the website fresh. Update with new information and videos.
- GET THE BLOGSPOT REFRESHED. Since April. I know it's a PITA, but it's a bunch of great stuff, so put it out there.
- What were all the old dreams you had? There were a bunch. You can do anything you ...

- Heh. It gets a little harder for you because you don't like the quest for name and fame, selling yourself like a cow. Okay.
- Well, you genuinely love to play music and write. So there's that.
- Where did the Artist's Way book go? You could try writing 3 pages a day until you find the thing.
- Meditate
- Write some in a journal
- See the end goal, then break the thing down in to micro steps. Like, teeny tiny steps.
- Hey if you do some small thing each day, it adds up. TINY things, okay?
jan 1 2013 ∞ jan 1 2013 +
- Okay, so you're moving inland to a different territory in the spring.
- Maybe reach out to all the string contractors inland and in Philly now.
- Change your information to reflect the new area. Less focus on Cape May.
- Maybe enter the system once, pretending to be a bride, to see what they see on the internet, what blogs they read, what the competition is doing.
- Write some articles about being a wedding violinist for the blogs?
- How do you connect with all the various wedding professionals on social media? Try to target all the non-douchebag people in Philly, to network and trade ideas.
- Maybe build your social media profile and website, then do workshops for other people? Or help them build it?
jan 1 2013 ∞ jan 1 2013 +
- I can write. I never actually write, but I could write whatever I want.
- I can sing. Maybe take some lessons so I can get any kind of gig.
- I love to teach violin. Granddaddy keeps urging me to get a teaching degree. Is that a good idea or not? Ugh, it costs a lot and sounds boring, but look into it.
- I'm pretty good at social media. Do I want to do something with computers, straight out?
- I have a huge amount of music recordings, software, instruments, midi keyboard, and midi keyboard instruction manuals. (Why does that sound so boring, reading those manuals? Maybe try a chapter or two?)
- Somewhere, I have a dance music book. Read that. Sounds pretty cool.
jan 1 2013 ∞ jan 1 2013 +
- Curated, tightly choreographed show of fiddle, Irish, heavy metal, and Indian music.
- For the public, this may need to be catchier and danceable.
- For the heart, include a slower recital of depressing Irish/Scottish ballads and South Indian classical music
- Blow the roof off Philly, then New York
- Put on a BIG ASS PRODUCTION. Make a fun party, a big spectacle
- Instead of looking for places to hire, make the party and create the show yourself
- It would be cool to resurrect the old dreams. What were all of them?
jan 1 2013 ∞ jan 1 2013 +
- Meditate
- Get to the gym for an hour or two, at least 3x/week
- Go through incoming leads
- I really like my Pinterest board of Social Media stuff. Dig around on Facebook, twitter, and pinterest every day to see what other people are doing.
- They say that a strong youtube and google+ presence can help. Make videos and run them up the google flagpole, then.
- Reach out to the colleagues who treated you well and supported your continuing growth as an artist.
jan 1 2013 ∞ jan 1 2013 +
- Make recordings: Enter Sandman, Etulobrotha, Draggin' the Bow, other Irish/Bluegrass
- Make video as pitch to Philadelphia Folk Festival
- Research contacts at Philly Folk Festival
- Reach out to Hot Club of Philadelphia, Kanye West, SXSW contacts, Brian Fitzgerald, Kevin Walker, Suzzette Ortiz, jazz players
- Call Debbie Batt, Sharla Feldscher, Greg Wright
- Call Maleani Cafe
- Brainstorm places in Philadelphia with SuzQ
- Reach out to big acts and big agents. Metallica, Shania Twain, Rod Stewart, the big South Indian music community, country artists, Latin artists, John Mellencamp, David Bowie, Roots. That WAS the old dream...

- Hahaha, get some more vitamins. I can only make myself eat kid vitamins, so I gotta get those today.
- Why am I obsessed with that leopard/peacock print shirt? Seems so 2011. Maybe get one nice shirt for CommuniCon. Hey, I gotta look nice if I'm going to play the violin for the people, right?
- Spinner luggage. I'm like a kid, jealous of people with their spinner luggage. They look so comfortable.
- What the heck. I don't really need anything else, OK? I have plenty of stuff. Look into potential classes in computers or teaching. Otherwise, what the heck else do I need?
jan 1 2013 ∞ jan 1 2013 +
- JEEZ.
- Make sure there are fresh dark greens in the fridge at all times. For salads and steaming. (Spinach, kale, collards, chard, dandelion)
- Eat your colors.
- Maybe get some protein powder and start making more veggie/protein/berry smoothies?
- Dang it, I want to learn how to make a proper red coconut curry.
- HEALTHY ENCHILADAS OMG.
- Whatever. As long as healthy food is in the house, you'll eat it.
- Try going macrobiotic for a month? Starting with a 3 day brown rice fast? Yeah, you got this.
- Get some damn vitamins, for God's sake.

- Holy crap, where did my zumba shoes go?
- I actually used to enjoy doing zumba
- Look up all the times for the gym's zumba class and write them down
- 6pm Mon, 6am Tues, 6am AND 6pm Weds, 9:30am AND 4:30pm Thurs.
- Yay, that's PLENTY of times!
- What the heck else do I enjoy? I have to trick myself into working out.
- If it's like a dance form, then I don't notice it as much.
- I also like the large balance ball thing, the tread climber, little weights, sometimes yoga
- Stuff I HATE: BOOT CAMP (GROSS), cycling (hurts in the you-know), big weights (I am not a power lifter, OK)
- I might like to try: swimming (aqua-cize sounds like old lady stuff but might be fun. I just have to remember to bring anti-chlorine shampoo), yoga (as long as it's...
