this was meant to be a couple notes about my pets but ermmm oh well PLEASE ASK TO SEE MY PETS!!!!!!!!!

• topaz
  • topaz was the first out of every pet on this list. hes a long haired chihuahua and he is 7
  • hes a bit of a knobhead and very very stupid but i have soooo much love for him
  • he has anxiety so he doesnt like much, but he does enjoy going outside just to smell the flowers
  • he loves to cuddle and is a super big softie
  • he has a favourite toy that we call 'wolfie' that he likes to bring with him everywhere
  • he is irrationally scared of shadows, leads, the fridge door and the letterbox
  • the dogs arent allowed upstairs so on the rare occasion they get to go up topaz is the happiest about it. he likes to curl up on the pillows and sleep
  • when we bought him he was named nickel and whenever my mother gets serious with him she calls him nickel
  • he also has a full name for some reason. its topaz lucky talisman which is lowkey such a vibe
  • he has grinch feet and a fan for a tail but hes seriously just one big loving fluffball and the heart of the family

• ruby
  • roo is 5 and a short haired chihuahua
  • i admittedly do have a favourite out of all 6 of these guys and its ruby
  • shes super weird
  • she likes to bring me toys whenever i come home, and she always looks for me in a room
  • she doesnt wag her tail a lot (SHES OKAY AND SUPER HAPPY SHE JUST....DOESNT.) but always seems to around me which is so super sweet
  • she seems to favour toys that look like sushi for some reason and she always gravitates towards them
  • whenever she wants someones attention she wont bark, but she will hit you. shes a 2kg chihuahua so obvs it doesnt hurt but shes full of sass
  • she likes to steal coffee and tea from mugs my mother leaves around LOL
  • she ate a bee one time??
  • shes incredibly self aware for a dog. she has a heart condition but shes very aware of her limits and always stops whenever she works herself too hard
  • whenever something doesnt go her way she lets out really exaggerated sighs
  • shes my soul dog and id be lost without the idiot, i love my ruby

• sapphire
  • saf is 3 and a short haired chihuahua with an undercoat
  • saffy is probably the most 'dog' dog out of my dogs. does that make sense
  • she has a nibbling habit?? she likes to either grab my mothers dressing gowns or take toys and sit and nibble them
  • she barks at the tv whenever she sees animals, and has an especially strong hatred for horses. even in shows without animals she will sit and watch it. she eats it up every time i stg
  • she is easily the most vocal dog and at the slightest sound she will yap and yap and yap
  • she loves absolutely everyone, i call her a big lovebug. nothing makes her happier than meeting new people
  • play fighting is her absolute favourite form of entertainment, and she is always starting scraps with ruby. not topaz tho since there is probably nothing he hates more than fighting
  • she HATES scooters and cyclists, especially if children are the ones riding them
  • i love my silly saff so much and theres never a boring moment with her, she brings the chaos to our lives

• ted
  • ted is a horse. what breed? how old? seriously couldnt tell you
  • hes SUPER ANNOYING. hes an absolutely massive horse and a powerhouse so he kills my hands every time i ride him. he always pulls on the reins in hopes ill make them looser but all it does is give my hands LEATHER BURNS.
  • he knows that if he randomly stops ill assume he needs something so he always takes advantage of that and will randomly stop for unknown periods of time
  • now he is actually a huge softie, and if im not completely balanced on him he wont canter (go fast) in fears of me falling off
  • he LOVESSS pole jumps and tbh anything to do with poles. the second he realises we're doing pole work he goes crazy fast
  • he is however super lazy and unused to trotting and cantering for long periods of time, so whenever we trot or canter he likes to make a point by huffing and coughing the entire time
  • we all call him teddy bear even though he loves to make my life difficult ♡
  • he pretty much never has a mane. he always rocks the buzz cut look
  • obviously most of these make it sound like i hate him, but i actually love him very much. i couldnt imagine riding alongside another horse. he puts up with my bs and stupid mistakes just like i put up with him constantly whipping his head around. love this stupid cob

special mention to poppy and pip, my dads pets, but i dont live with them so i dont have enough to say. still love you guys!!

(dis)honourable mention to my sisters dogs hugo, harlow and hattie who terrorise me and steal my shoes and socks. seriously guys im running out of socks
